OP is getting close to BARBIE, hopefully get a re-release here during award season.

Decent for Anatomy and Dream Scenario. Hope they get good WoM and have a nice run. Watched both over the weekend, quality stuff. Especially Anatomy.

TS defo over £2m. Could climb to £2.5m

Terrific hold for SAW X. Good WoM kicking on. Only trailing the original by 4m and will start gaining from next week onwards.

Good start for SAW. Easily the best film in the franchise after the first two.

SAW X was terrific, one of the best in the franchise. Would love to see it winning the weekend and carve out a decent tally.

Absolutely astonishing run! What a triumph for Nolan. 1 billion is doable. Just need a little award season push and re-release. It will chip away in IMAX the rest of the way.

DR2 will have a shot at £30m if it gets great WoM.

If you look into deep level stats there were a dozen if not more markets where it beat FALLOUT. Despite facing Barbenheimer and losing IMAX and PLF. Issue is that some big markets it disappointed which tarnishes the overall picture. USA, China, Korea underwhelmed. Main thing is that WoM is good and folks will check it out on other formats than theatrical by the time DR2 rolls out. Franchise is in a good spot.

So after next weekend BARBIE will have AVATAR in sight to claim all time #6. It will climb even higher with the deluxe screenings coming.
OPPY will have TDKR and DUNKIRK in sight to enter all time top 30 and become the highest grossing Nolan film. Next goal after that is JOKER (£58m) for highest 15 rated movie ever.
MI7 passed FALLOUT, so everything is gravy from here. Would be nice to catch TLM (£27.2m)

Thanks for the info. How much left in the tank for MI7 for the rest of the way?

How did MI7 do this weekend?

MI7 is brought back to my cinema for NCD 😀 It's gonna be another busy Saturday.

It should be brought back in the Us and UK for National Cinema Day.

Still making more net revenue than FAST X. The good thing is the strong WoM and the potential in DR2. This first entry laid great foundations. Not going to face Barbenheimer and straight demo killer SoF. The UK that has similar taste than the US saw franchise best numbers. The biggest sour grapes for me is Korea, it didn't face the same issues and PLF loss like other markets, so the decrease there is disappointing.

Was hoping for better holds, but the lack of PLF hurts everywhere. Japan and UK bright sparks. Still it will do 400m overseas and at least will finish ahead of TLM.

OP will get IMAX some showings all way through September and probably gets a re-release during award season as well, so those IMAX number will climb even higher.
-
DR overtook FALLOUT. At least one major market where MI7 performed well.
-
Lot of members here are not thinking and don't understand how the film industry works. Some still don't get why FAST X is losing MORE money than TLK or MI7.

Delivering FALLOUT numbers overall internationally excluding China despite Barbenheimer.

Korea could break out. 1 billion is definitely on the table. It will have further extended IMAX run. 2.5 billion WW for Barbenheimer seems like a lock.

1 billion still in play then. Need re-release globally during award season.
