I had actually avoided that trailer for the last few months, so when I saw it in front of New Mutants a few days ago, it was 100% new to me. It played really well on the big screen.

Also I assume, the What If episode, unless he dubbed for it already, should be cancelled. T'challa as Starlord one.
It wouldn't surprise me if the voices were already recorded for this. A lot of voice acting has a very long lead time these days.

Time to change that thread title: It's Here!

After years and years of anticipation, tomorrow is your final chance to vote for New Mutants in the Most Anticipated Movies thread:

-
They did before, so they do now. I guess the rules haven't changed.

The film may not be great, but this is pretty clearly some entitled reviewer demanding a free movie.

If Unhinged can make 4M, then Tenet ought to easily get past 20M in two weeks.
Especially if they try to make Friday a 5-day single-day number. (Meaning the showings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all magically count as part of Friday too.)
Hell, there's a chance it'll be at 20 million BEFORE Thursday night previews even start.
- 3
-
So what numbers can we get our hopes up for today? Will we get a Saturday number for Unhinged, and that's it? Or might we get numbers for other movies too?

1. New Mutants
2. Black Widow
3. Eternals
4. Dune
5, Morbius
6. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
7. Venom: Let There Be Carnage
8. The King's Man
9. Candyman
10. Snake Eyes

Although I doubt I’ll use my old data either way, so I don’t know how valuable it will be
Obviously, comparing New Mutants to any older numbers will be useless. However, having NM numbers, so you can compare future releases to NM, should be useful.

Goonies has been putting up good numbers week after week. Seems like great drive-in double feature material. Dirty Dancing makes an appearance. Pretty much business as usual.

This week's catalog title of old movies are less attractive than last week's
That might be a part of it. However, it might also be the case that some folks were happy to go see some old classics for a week or three, and are now losing their interest in watching old movies in theaters.
