Wow just got back. This movie was awesome. Everything from the acting to the effects was spot on. I'm glad it wasn't just a wolverine show. everyone chipped in. It was satisfying and extremely emotional. Charles and Ravens scenes were very well done. The music was nice too. The scenes in the future were very well integrated with the rest of the movie.
I like that they reset the timeline but kind of makes you think is it worth watching Xmen 1-3 anymore. Still i understand the decision. X3 fucked up future installments and they needed this. As much as i love x men first class i would like to see the present Xmen adventures. Makes it more current.
As for the post credits scene i had goosebumps. EN SABAH NUR!!! I have been waiting for Apocalypse to be onscreen all my life. They showed a scene from ancient Egypt as a young man displaying his powers and man THAT is what you call power!
I enjoyed this movie as much as Cap 2. Its hard to choose my fav Xmen movie now but i'll put it next to X2 and Xmen First Class for now.

Kneel before this movie. My favourite superhero movie when growing up. Liked it more than even Burtons Batman.
I saw the Donnor cut a few years ago but i prefer Lesters version. Donnors cut was obviously incomplete so it may have hindered it abit.

This is season was really good. Season 2 was kind of lame at times. But they really sorted their shit out for this. Only issue i didn't like was taking out Americon. They didnt show it and it didnt make sense either. If carrion revealed their identities wouldn't the authorities find out about their dealings? including flight 197 and the graysons?
Anyways apart from that good season and very nice finale.
With the way the ratings were for this season im hoping next season is the last. Would hate for it to be cancelled without resolving all the storylines.

Gosh i enjoyed this movie. It helps when you watch it on a giant screen
My criticisms are that it was pretty slow in places and had too much emphasis on human characters. They didnt delve into Godzilla too much and focused more on the two Mutos. I would have liked to see Godzilla under the ocean awaken after hearing the mutos talking to eachother. Him appearing out of nowhere was kind of confusing. They also teased the fight scenes in Hawaii and when the big doors shut in Elizabeth olsens face. I was like come on man, show me something. Been here for 2 hours already!
Me and my friend couldnt stop laughing at Watanabe. God his accent is barely understandable.
'We named him Gozhilla...' bahahahahahaha
Than when the final battle arrived. Holy smoke that was fucking epic! Hail the king of monsters!

A dream come true when they announced this movie. I had chills when going to see this.....and than i was like noooooo WTF have they done. Mofos, the lot of em.
Some of the fight scenes were kind of cool. The main predator really knows how to style it out lol. Liked how he sliced off a xenomorphs head without looking.
Very disappointing movie though.

I was surprised after watching this. It was pretty decent. Could have been so much more though but the action scenes just weren't very good. I just found them pretty boring. With better action and some graphic display of violence this could have been one of those great remakes.

Strange movie. Plot was lame. I dont recall seeing any other human except for the cop that got killed in the beginning and the 2 doctors. I have loved Yvonne Strahovski since Chuck and thought she did pretty well. Eckhart was just trying to sound like Batman. Anyways pretty crappy movie.
oh and as soon as Miranda Otto appeared on screen i thought of fishnets loool.

where do i begin. Mixed bag of feelings here. to summarize:
Gwen and Peter were great. Good love story. Probably the best element of the movie.
Electro...was ok but what was the point. Like really? what was his end game?
Harry Osborn. Seemed to be shoe horned in. I didnt believe that they used to be best friends or even knew each other. Seemed kinda forced. Also looked as though the studio wanted to make it different from the previous movies in that Harry becomes the goblin. I suspect Norman is still alive though and is the true green goblin saved for the future series.
rhino...oscar nominee huh? Could have fooled me.
Most annoying character was that Dr Kafka. Like WTF. Dude had lip stick and spoke in that corny accent. Seemed like some tranny dominatrix. Hell no, get the fuck out of this movie. Pure cheese. should have kept the character as a female. Best not make him Doc Ock.
As for the special effects...Sony cant do CGi or any sort of effects for shit man. Imageworks needs to close down. Weta or ILM is the way to go.
The directing and editing was pretty weak. Movie seemed all over the place and at times too fast. Too much happening...though half that stuff didnt even seem relevant.
Music was fine. I love Zimmer but i preferred Horners score from the first movie.
The action was cool though, pity it looked pretty fake.
As for the end scene showing Gwens fate. WOW! that was the best scene in the movie. Extremely well directed and heart breaking. Been waiting for Gwens death to happen since the first movie but was extremely sad because Emma portrayed her so well. Powerful stuff and Peters reaction was spot on. That is when Spiderman should be crying (glares at Tobey Maguire...). Also the plane scene with his parents was pretty emotional too.
Another good scene was the end with the kid going out and Spidey turning up. Pretty inspiring if not stupid from the kid lol.
I will have to watch it again on Blu Ray to see if it goes up or down. But for now i'll give it a C+. Weakest of the Spiderman movies.

I think the beyonder is the most powerful being that ever came into the marvel universe. I mean he easily dispatched the watchers, Galactus. I mean everyone. His powers let him create universes.
LT is on a whole different level. The beyonder you refer to is pre-retcon. Since than LT is the top dog.

The current LT in continuity is more powerful than even pre-retcon Beyonder. Only the One Above All/God and the Heart of the Universe is more powerful than LT. So in this poll Thanos wins.
Thats my opinion anyway, most would say pre-beyonder over LT.
Makes you think though recently LT was found dead on the moon by the watcher and Iron Man.....theres a seriously powerful Hitman that is loose somewhere!

That scene with DeNiro and Pacino...knowing this was their first onscreen scene together sent chills down my spine. They are the kings when it comes to acting.
