Have fun! Let us know what you think!About to go see this movie with the family.
I'm way too excited.

Exactly. That season was wack. Did you see BGASB2? I'm super disappointed with that winner. Queen Mehgan shoulda won.
Have you heard about BGC13? Gonna be an All-Star season! Kristen is rumored! Mehgan said she wasn't gonna be on the season.
Yeah! I was so disappointed! I was rooting for Rocky (although I preferred her on her season of BGC) and Mehgan was my second choice! I did hear about BGC13. It would be awesome to see Kristen again. I also really wanna see Christina (s9).

Hell yeah! I hope this season ain't run by jumpers and wack bitches though.
Seriously! It ruined last season! I've heard this season doesn't have any of that luckily, if it did...

Now I'm the in mood to rewatch Miss Congeniality! Never saw the sequel. Looked bad. And Clairezilla, you excited for BGC: Chicago?

It should be around 139-140 after this weekend. $145 is a guarantee. I'm still hoping for better than expected drops here on out and a $150 finish. Can divergent get to 140 Domestic?

Nice! Divergent is already ahead of Noah and Draft Day. And it's nipping at Oculus' heels.

I really wish I was on the forums during the Scream 4 meltdown. I had to deal with it all by myself.Omg. Oculus best not beat Scre4m.

I love that theater! Catching Fire was awesome on that screen with the last 50 minutes shot with imax cameras! I saw both Thor:TDW and Captain America: TWS on that IMAX screen as well as Divergent. Those were awesome too but not the same when not shot in IMAX.Loews Lincoln Square is always such a monster...I live in NY and love seeing imax movies on that screen...oh what I wouldn't give to see TDK trilogy on that imax screen again. At least there's Interstellar's 70+ minutes of imax footage to look forward to!

I've heard about this... What were Scream 3's weekend estimates?Imagine they pulled a Scream 3 and came in under $90M. Lmfao. Bless.

Mudblood isn't a term for non-magical people. It's a derogatory name for magical offspring of non-magical people.

Yeah, I'm rereading Insurgent right now. I really like it! Much more action packed and eventful than Divergent. Divergent was good though! Good enough to get me to want to reread the books and get excited for the sequel.if i remember in the sequel we'll find out more about the other factions and what's really going on , i know i was pretty surprised at the end of insurgent , really have to start reading allegiant the 3rd book so yeah just because of the take on the ending i'm giving this an A-

Not really good or bad. Every movie seemed to drop around 70% this Monday give of take. I'm hopeful for an under 55% drop this weekend. I suspect Divergent may not play like a typical YA adaptation given 50% of it's audience consisted of non book readers. Is that a good number for Divergent ?

Any news or speculation as to today's numbers?
-
If Divergent performs like 300: ROAE it will make over $59 million this weekend. I'm still holding out hope for it to make $60 million.

Not too impressed with 4.9 million. $60 million was on my low side of predictions and now it's on the high end. We'll see what happens I guess, and reviews aside, maybe it would be too front loaded.

I really hope it is good and scary. Insidious 2 was such a disappointment. Wish they didn't make that one. Hopefully I won't feel the same about this.

I think a budget comparable to Catching Fire would work. $130 million. Not a giant budget but still big enough to get some good cgi, actors, etc. I think this could be a big hit for LG. Just gotta hope it doesn't end up feeling like a wannabe Transformers between the robots/dinosaur themes. I think 2016 is doable.
