Interesting, Unstoppable was one of my favorite films of 2010. Very underrated film.

These numbers blow my mind.

The Superbowl is crappy this year? No Way!

Chronicle deserves more, it was a great film. People should go out and see it. My 2nd favorite found footage film after Cloverfield. I liked it more so than Paranormal Activity.

Anyone surprised Dujardin beat Clooney?

Curious to see Hugo's number.

Fuck, misleading title. I was shocked for a second.

Time for my poorly written review. So, I got a chance to watch this movie with On Demand Paper View last night. I heard some great things about this movie from critics and film goers alike. They both loved it. Let me preface by saying, I loved this film. Making a film on the subject of cancer(especially a comedy film) is extremely tough. Will Reiser and Jon Levine did a great job toeing the line between making this film too comedic and too dramatic. Joseph Gordon-Leavitt was great as the main character, it is such a shame he didn't get more Oscar consideration. Wasn't showy enough of a performance? Anyways, this is a great movie. I highly recommend it.Also, the anesthetic scene(when JGL is about to undergo surgery to remove the cancer)sent shivers down my spine. I was actually fine watching this film till then. That scene was sooooo unnerving, and it drove me to tears.

How was Jessica Chastain compared to Octavia Spencer?

I'm glad Dragon Tattoo got snubbed here. This film score was not memorable at all. The Social Network's score was also fucking garbage. I can't stand to listen to that techno garbage. Ughh...

No way!The Social Network got better reviews than Toy Story 3, but your point is still valid

Descendants feels like this year's Up In the Air. The Artist is just too perfect for the Academy. If it wins, it'll be the most predictable Best Picture winner in a long time. If it loses, it would be the most shocking loss since...I don't know, maybe Saving Private Ryan?
Crash winning over Bareback Mountain

Red Tails seems like Fly Boys.

Just saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the CGI Apes from that movie were incredible. Not just Andy Serkis as Caesar, but all the Apes in General. Definitely think it is the heavy favorite to win best visual effects.

This award season fucking sucks. The only decent films I liked were Hugo and War Horse. They don't even compare to any film last year.

If it can stay strong in Febraury, March will break out with a ton of hit films.

BATB-20 Million for a 20 year old film? :oNever did I think another Disney 3D film would be successful, TLK notwithstanding.

And, according to BOM:
"The Devil Inside got the year off to a great start with a massive $16.85 million debut on Friday. Add in solid Christmas holdovers and the Top 10 earned an estimated $42.7 million yesterday, which is up an enormous 61 percent from the first Friday of 2011. Perhaps more impressive is that it's about even with the same Friday in 2010, which was when Avatar was still driving unusually high results."
Wow...

Green Hornet?

I just got back from my showing at the Warren. I won't say it is bad as some are saying, but it isn't as good has I wanted it to be. A lot of the Exorcism and Possession stuff was extremely well done. But, holy fuck at the ending. That might be the worst one I've ever seen. It dropped my rating a letter grade. Probably a C for me.

About to see The Devil Inside. the theater is packed with teens and young adults!
