Just left a showing with about 50 people.
Audience reaction seemed mixed.
I enjoyed it. The set up for the third movie looks like it will be a much bigger budget film.

Someone has to pay for the alimony, palimony, coke problem, tax lawyers, mob members, congress and all of their toys.
Can't forget the hookers.
Baumer said toys already.

How exactly does Deadpool need a serious recovery? The weekend of lost where it fell 57%, that was coming off of an inflated Sunday and a 14 million dollar Thursday preview. Take all that into consideration and it fell way less than 50% and its second weekend. I have no idea if it's going to pass passion or American sniper but it certainly doesn't need a strong recovery so to speak. I'm at home
You know me Baumer. I'm still holding out for TFA to hit a billion.

Yeah Deadpool is going to need some serious legs or an unprecedented rebound to go after American Sniper and Passion of the Christ.
It's has a small shot, but honestly everything this movie has done so far is amazing. It's also cracked the Top 100 domestic on Tuesday and is on cruise control to 300 million.
Everything from here on out is gravy.

It's only going to continue losing screens as its run continues to wind down. Get over it.
There is nothing to get over. I'm just baffled by the logic of dropping a top three film .
Its kind of like how I'm baffled over Donald Trump doing so well in the presidential polls.

Star Wars needs to stop bleeding screens. If anything,it needs to start adding them back. Take the screens being wasted on Jane Got A Gun,50SOB, and The Choice and hand them to a movie that can use the extra showings.

....that would be so amazing, but it seems hasn´t gas for more than 930, i really would be like to be wrong...
how much do you think?
I've been one of the last holdouts for a billion, and yeah I know the math makes that basically impossible.
I still think people are underestimating the staying power of this franchise even with 900 million plus in the bank.
Realistic expectations? 950 minimum.
From there it would take re releases ,which I don't think are as much of a factor as they have been in decades past.
-
94 million to go.
Just saying.
It's going to be a lot closer than you think.
-
Star Wars really shouldn't have lost as many screens as it did. It still has the second highest PTA and most theaters around here have dropped it.
That doesn't make any sense.

Going with 1,000,000,000.00 until TFA stops tracking.
Impossible? Most likely.

121 million to go!
:::runs!:::

So only 138 million to go for 1 billion domestic.
TFA did nearly $853 million in its first 31 days. It's going to play for at least six months.
You doubters must be members of the instant gratification millenial generation. 1 billion isn't a sprint,it's a slow steady marathon.
I guarantee this can do 138 more in its final five months.

I may be on an island alone with this statement, but at this moment I still think a billion is in play.

The Force Awakens will break a billion.
It may take until the end of May,but it will happen .
This isn't Avatar,RotK,Avengers,Titanic or anything else. It's in uncharted territory.

So what's the all time Sunday record? I have a feeling it may be shattered tomorrow.
Weekend Thread: Grimsby Bros leads the way with massive 3.1M, 10CL has decent 25.2M, Zootopia crumbles to $50M ;) P.31

So TFA still has a shot at a billion?
