Don't really comprehend what problem the average moviegoer may have had with Trap. It's a pretty appealing/entertaining thriller
I'm a Shyamalan diehard. I'll even go to bat for stuff like Lady in the Water. But even I didn't like the movie all too much. It's just way too silly and convoluted, even for M. Night.

So are we getting just one reptile in this? Little disappointing.

A24 is pretty much mini-major at this point. They're valued at $2.5 billion.
True. But...it's still funny.

We are finally witnessing the end of Lionsgate I have foreseen 10 years ago.
Could A24 outgross Lionsgate by the end of this year? Because if they have just one or two more breakout hits this year, they could do it.

Moderation
Yeah, uh…we don’t condone stalking here. Please do not creep on other users, please especially don’t reveal their public names, and just please please please act normal around this place. Because this kind of stalker behavior is cruel and unacceptable and disgusting. I didn’t think I ever needed to make such an announcement, but apparently some folks need to learn an obvious rule. Oh well.

There is something weirdly comforting that even with video game movies being the hot new thing, we are still getting Uwe Boll style disasters. More things change, the more they stay the same.

It's that time again. Two years since the last D23, we've had Daddy Iger return to his rightful throne, go through a million write-offs on their streaming shows, see Disney utterly implode on its 100th anniversary, only to now see a rebirth with recent box office hits. And now, starting tomorrow, we're getting more looks and insights into what Disney Adults can look forward to over the next couple of years.
There's plenty of awesome panels throughout the weekend, but the big stuff comes in three different packages. Tomorrow is what BOT is most looking forward to with the Disney Entertainment Showcase. Upcoming Disney movies and shows will be unveiled here. Some footage will be exclusive, others will be public, but we are getting our first looks at the likes of Toy Story 5, Zootopia 2, Snow White, Freaky Friday 2, and so on, alongside details for projects like Mufasa, Moana 2, and more. Plus sure to be many more surprises nobody could predict.
Saturday has the Disney Experiences Showcase, which is where we get exciting details on Disney's theme parks, cruise lines, and more. What new rides are coming? What are the expansions to our beloved parks? How will Fortnite tie into all this? It's all gonna be awesome. And on Sunday, there's the always wonderful Disney Legends Award Ceremony, where the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis, Joe Rohde, Frank Oz, James Cameron, Steve Ditko, and more will be given their flowers and accolades for their impact on the magic of the magic kingdom.
It's all gonna be fun, and this is where we can all divulge and argue over it. As always, be courteous, be respectful, and be mindful of others. Have fun!

I disagree. Grace Randolph liked a tweet I made. She can do whatever she wants IMO

Yeah I don't deny that it's probably hurt the theatrical audience in general, but people need to shift the mindset beyond just the "theaters losing customers" perspective to realize it's better for everyone that people have options. You don't really want angry stressed out families in your movie theater audience or on the roads to get there.
Honestly it hasn’t? Like even with movies coming home sooner, movies are the leggiest they have been in a long while. Which granted is partly because there are fewer releases coming out these days, but it still says something that people actively seek out going to see these movies on the big screen despite the at home option. Not like we don’t have movies having terrible legs despite the lack of options anyways (Lightyear, Furiosa, Fly Me to the Moon).

Yeah I think Apple's done with theatrical releases. Even they know it's not worth it.
