Question to those following BO back then:
What was your first reaction to seeing that $100M opening? Was the thought of it breaking the century mark even a possibility in your mind?

QuoteViacom said that Paramount’s film slate will now include one to two co-branded releases from each of the flagships annually. To kick things off, Nickelodeon and Paramount will collaborate on four films. The first, “Amusement Park,” will premiere in theaters in summer 2018 and will then inspire a TV series on Nickelodeon the following year.

Hey, this could work. Ferrell can still make me laugh like hell when he's inspired.
I wonder if they will make him dim-witted and Watson as the true brains, that kinda seems too obvious.
They already did that in the 80s.

I assume retitled The Diaster Artist. Anyway, it's finally premiering at SXSW.

I am a staunch believer in this crossing $200M. Y'all may think I'm crazy, but I have a feeling that it has the potential to happen under the right circumstances.

Over $145.8M, all the while making box office history as the first animated film to cross $100M domestically in just one run.

Eh, both comedies can co-exist. Bad Moms was R-rated and female-skewing, while Daddy's Home, in spite of its PG-13 rating, geared more towards families (I remember a few kids movies at the time had Daddy's Home as one of the previews).
