I thought this was stupid until Driver joined. Honestly, at this point I trust so much his choices, I would watch anything he is in.

I think this lost the comic book fans. I was just talking with a girl who is a big fan of comic's Black Canary and she is very adamant that Batgirl is the one who should have been in Harley's place, and Harley should have been the sympathetic villain. Idk

Well this will be huge for fandoms

When this was announced I was indifferent, but as the time passes I think it will do good numbers. Unless Marvel moves Eternals in December.
-
The films are already connected with the series. Loki disappears, Cap gives the shield to Sam and not Bucky.... all these stories that were set in Endgame will be addressed in the Disney+ series. Marvel Tv never had this before.

That DanielRPK guy posted on twitter, hinting at a possible new Star Wars movie featuring Rey ( solo movie )...
Wasn't the trilogy focused on Rey?

I read so many people praise the Swift's performance on this, as the bright moment of the movie, and she only sang one song? Like imagine if she was bad at performing a song.
I don't think any actor was actually bad (minus Idris Elba because.... my eyes!) and i could understand the vision but yes the movie was a mess. Its wasn't even fun mess, just mess.

Marvel sending two of their female heroes straight to TV instead of giving them films isn’t surprising.
They are supposed to be introduced and appear in films laters, that's the case with every Disney+ show.
I am not huge fun of Disney but a least they are trying. Women directors on the white male shows, people of color in front and back of the camera on others. Yes it would be great if every character got a movie but then we would have to wait years for Ms Marvel to come. More than five or seven.
Eternals, Black Widow and Thor 4 are women led movies, Shang-Chi and Blade POC led movies. The only white male movie in phase four is Doctor Strange and he costars with Wanda.
They are trying.

Rocketman would "look" better if Bohemian hadnt just come out last fall. Its numbers are great for the genre and will probably make a push for 80m+ with a shot at 100m.
Bohemian was an exception for the genre and we need to remember that. Only real mistake here was deciding to open it in May/june and not later on in the schedule.
Bohemian helped it, this looks like being part of the same cinematic universe and all the critics compared them and said Rocketman is a far better movie. It has very good publicity, the actors are on every cover and attend every event available out there. I think it's logic that they wanted something more after an identical movie did 900ml

I think they overestimated the "Godzilla is the star" narrative, maybe because people thought that characters in the previous films didn't matter. The monsters need a human story and at least sympathetic human characters to work for the general audience, only few are monsters' die hard fans out there the rest need to more to get entertained..

And possibly a BIG BIG spoiler:
The source claims that is the reality stone. A description of the scene: "There were loud cries heard from Scarlet's stand-in in the water, and great rejoicing when the cold scenes were done [..] The crew got an ice-cold, but perfectly bewitched, western-country atmosphere for the scenes".
I don't think the suit looks like the one she had in Endgame, but maybe it's the picture

Chris enjoyed so much the Ragnarok success, but if you repeat the same joke it's not funny anymore. I don't know if people will see this as a Thor spin off but there may be an oversaturation of his and Tessa's chemistry before Thor 4.

So Jolie and Madden are the central characters of Sersi and Ikaris. Pretty great leads to lean in for the franchise. What names are being thrown out for Hercules? Luke Evans? Alexander Skaarsgard?
There will be another male lead, the one they are looking an openly gay actor for, possibly Hercules.

I know, and I agree with you to an extent, i just think it's delusional if anyone actually seriously thinks it would happen. and yes when everyone and their nan was asking for Tom Hiddleston to be james bond that was a strange thought. I'm glad we have moved past that.
It was because he was succesfull with his spy show, like Madden is with Bodyguard. He is actually the best actor of the ones mentioned here, along with Elba, but i agree none of them should be Bond for several reasons. Elba is old now and Hiddleston is better suited in other roles.
Bond isn't character that requires big acting chops only be to able to sell the mystery around the character, if they can find an actor who can do both even better.

'looks the part' meaning...?? bond men never look alike. craig was super bashed because he looked like an ugly alcoholic but then he was a brilliant bond. brosnan was super handsome but his bond was a joke
He is good looking for me as at least, everyone above was talking for appearance.
That's harsh on Craig but agree that anyone can be a good Bond, especially a good actor.

I really liked this movie, and it's been a while since I enjoyed a movie that I didn't think I would like.
