I'll say this movie probably makes $60M domestic opening weekend, $175M Domestic Total, $350M International for $520M WW.
...and merchandise sales i'm guessing probably will generate around $2-3 billion

Alien: Covenant is taking a huuuuuge drop in theater count. Over 1,000!!!! Another 70%+ drop incoming?
-
that alien covenant drop is unbelievable yuge
imagine how much bigger the drop would be if it wasn't a memorial day weekend with an inflated sunday

-
Alien Covenant dropping 66% on a MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
just let that sink in a bit

I'm guessing that Disney has already passed $1 billion at the Domestic Box Office Today... Second fastest record too after the record they set last year.

what's the OW for pirates expected to be?
-
Any Tuesday bump over 26.1% would give it a higher second Tuesday than Civil War
-
Guardians down 52.3% from last Monday
F8 35.9%
Beauty and the Beast 10.6%
Predicting a Tuesday bump around 35%

what and when is the next major competition anyways?

Very rare to see movies lose theaters after only one week
especially for wide releases
seems very odd to me
