Just watched it and loved it. The story is not the best thing ever, but the movie is very action packed and I loved the interactions between the characters.
PS: I think the first JW is a 10/10 and I also really like JW: FK.

margot's performance >>> dern's. laura is an amazing actress but she's played that role a lot of times
Dern is playing the same role she did in Big Little Lies, which is not bad though

It is still in good shape not?
Minha Mãe é uma Peça is way too popular.
Frozen probably won't beat it this weekend.

Great number but I'm not surprised.
Should have very good legs but of course not near the first one.

Just watched Minha Mãe é uma Peça 3.
Great movie, a lot of laughs and theater was packed.
Probably the best one in franchise.
And even though I think the movie should upset some conservative viewers because it has a lot of gay content, I don't care about those people.

I'm a huge fan of musicals and I went to watch this today.
Even though there's some good things about this movie, I can't exactly recommend this to anyone because it's terrible.
It doesn't actually have a plot, it's just one song after the other, and most songs don't work and all of the musical numbers are uninspiring (I can't believe that it was directed by the same guy who did Les Mis).
It gets boring after the 4th song and it's such a drag, even for musical lovers.
I think the main problem is they forgot that a movie must have a script to keep audiences interested. It looks like they just made a copy of the play, but lacking the good dancing and energy.
And yes, Jennifer Hudson singing Memory is incredible and Francesca Hayward was not that bad, but it doesn't take away the fact that, in general, it's a horrible movie.

Yeah, TROS is way more crowdpleasing than TLJ but that shouldn't have much of an effect here in Brazil.

Just saw it and liked it very much.
Some things could have been better/different but it's a fun and entertaining movie (way more than TLJ).

Frozen is crazy popular here.
If it wasn't for the ER, we could be talking about at least 40m.

In 3 weeks this topic will be reborn with Star Wars
I don't know why. But I have a feeling that it will flop in Brazil, especially with the horrible ER.

I understand the Charlie’s Angels flop a bit more now, they should’ve been targeting older females. Those Ariana Grande fans are loud, but they don’t pay.
“The $48 million production received a "B" CinemaScorefrom opening weekend audiences, which were 61% female with 55% of the overall audience coming in aged 25 or older.“
Don't know why it received such a low cinemascore.
I enjoyed the movie very much and the people at my audience seemed very into it.

When does summer break start in Brazil? I am hoping it has crazy late run and make a play for 40m in brazil.
End of November/beginning of December and it lasts until the end of January.

I watched it on Friday and thought it was just fine. But apparently it's getting very good word of mouth in Brazil because everyone seems to love it.
Will be interesting what it's going to do in the next few weeks.

Saw the movie yesterday wanting to enjoy it but it was never possible.
The movie is so slow and so boring that it made a story with great potencial become something so dry and emotionless.
Brad Pitt is good but he didn't have much to do besides looking down or talking in a very slow way.
The people at my theater didn't seem to enjoy it much. There was at least two people sleeping next to me and there was a guy snoring very loudly.

If 'It: Chapter 2' hits $100+ million for the weekend, I am incredibly impressed. Back-to-back $100+ million opening films? This is blockbuster status for a horror franchise. Really cool.
Edit: I also just recently realized that, for as much as the runtime is a long one (at 2 hrs 50 min), it is only 15 minutes longer than the first film (which ran 2 hrs 35 min). Of course, that 15 minutes might feel like a long time when we're talking about a near 3 hour film.
Peace,
Mike
First film ran 2h15min.

Anyone outside the US got the BoP teaser with their screening? Is the trailer like part of the movie itself?
I'm from Brazil and I saw the BoP teaser.
The lights had already been turned off and everyone thought the movie was starting but the DC logo came in and we realized it was the teaser.

I saw it again last week but was so late to it (I thought there'd be 20 mins of ads and trailers... I was wrong) I came in just as the director's credit came up, aka after Arabian Nights has just finished. I've gotta watch it again to make up for that because I love that song. I was pretty mad with myself since I've never been that late to a movie, but it was a 9:30am session and I do want some semblance of a sleep-in on the weekend.
You missed one of the best parts of the movie 🙁

2nd biggest start ever in Brazil Just behind AEG ... $4.5 M on Thursday ...
Deadline
Elsewhere, the Thursday openers on TLK include Brazil with the 2nd highest industry launch day of all time, behind only Avengers: Endgame. At $4.5M, it more than doubled the opening day of Beauty And The Beast.
Latin America saw the highest opening day of all time across the region for a Disney branded live action film. Again, more than twice what BATB did in 2017.
I knew it. It was the 2nd most anticipated movie of the year here (after AEG) and BATB did amazing numbers here in 2017.
Should have good legs too.
