Well it's becoming easier and easier to make get big domestic numbers, I mean Titanic is the greatest domestic run of all time and it only made $600m. I'm starting to believe $4b is possible, for some reason I don't need to go that high for the told you so factor, most people on here think it will make less than Avatar (how does 2A<A even make sense).
4B? Jimbo we’re talking about Avatar 2, not Samson 2

If my math is correct, this is a better true Friday-Sunday hold than Wonder Woman
WW - 103.2-11m = 92.2m. 58.52/92.2 = 63.47%
BP - 202-25.2 = 176.8. 113.2/176.8 = 64.02%

And now we're at 113M. Black Panther pulling the up-and-up-and-up act two weeks in a row.
Percentage wise, I think second weekend outdid first weekend in increase from initial numbers.

No, She Saïd that nowadays Many films hit 1 billion which hard to be very special. The 2 billion now is therefore the special milestone. She Saïd that in general. You should watch her video’s more closely

Game Night and Annihilation combined didn’t make as much over the entire weekend as Black Panther on its second Sunday

Black Panther’s run is melting my brain. Definitely the Beast Incarnate of the year (pun fully intended).
To think that a few years ago some people were wondering if the character was viable at all (particularly on comic forums). Black Panther fans have really had it rough from fellow “fans” particularly in recent times because some dorks that have too much time on their hands constantly rail against minority led titles.
Worse still was the bullshit coming from some UK posters (whom I shall not name)that the movie wasn’t getting traction there at all. LOL..soccer fans would have noticed Jesse Lingard doing a Black Panther celebration when he scored the winner against yesterday for Manchester United against Chelsea yesterday, that pretty shows how much of a pop culture phenomenon the movie has become.
And Paul Pogba

I really hope Avatar is re-released in IMAX. Not my favorite movie, but I do like it and was not fortunate enough to experience it in the best format

Why are you watching Grace Randolph?
I read she was underplaying BP's box office and had to check it out

Oh lordy...Grace Randolph implying BP is only "special" if it hits 2B at the global box office

Got to admit it’s a little funny Avengers and Avatar are both on TV right now.
Gotta milk them while they still have their current places on the all time domestic list

So is it safe to say BP > Samson Domestic?

Despite what JL was i honestly think it's happenning for the exact same reason...novelty and momentum not being there on the same levels as the solo film of a female protagonist and an african-american lead.
The JL/WW situation happened because JL was the culmination of everything that went wrong for DC. WW made good money but nothing shocking like this. Black Panther is doing what shouldn’t be possible, and IW is going to do great but just won’t be able to match the cultural relevance of BP. Also, IW is going to make more WW, furthering the point that WW/JL happened because JL failed, whereas BP/IW happened because BP succeeded.

I can see right now that the Marvel's BP/IW 2018 combo will be what 2017's DC's WW/JL combo was but on a much bigger scale obviously...
IW will include BP but still gross considerably less.
Except this is happening for the exact opposite reason.

On one hand I agree with Jimbo that A2 is gonna be insane at the Box Office. On the other hand, I do not think he will be too happy when he realizes who the production studio will be

112.2m is the magic number for BP to have a better true Friday-Sunday hold than Wonder Woman
