I don't understand why they have a 59 million weekend off a 17.4 Friday. I get 62-63 million. JW should jump by about 50% today. It's not going under 60.
Saying the exact same thing. They are definitely lowballing.

Estimates for the weekend were 150mil, so about 1.5mil above the actual.
Premiere week. Universal did that because it sounded better than 148.5 million. JW 2 will be over 60 million.

Nope. Last week incredibles dropped from deadlines estimates too while JW2 kept rising.

At $2.5B To Date, Summer’s B.O. Is More Colossal Than Ever Imagined; Dinos Still Rule With $59M Second Weekend
Summer is truly roaring, and it’s not just because of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which is topping the B.O. in its second weekend with $59M, -60% with a 10-day total of $263.7M.
Both titles continue to respectively rule the top two spots of this weekend’s B.O. with Incredibles 2 cemented in second place with a third weekend of $44.8M at 4,410 locations, -44% for a running total by Sunday of $438.9M. At that level, the Pixar superheros will easily become the second-highest movie of all-time stateside for the animated studio after Finding Dory ($486.2M) and ahead of Toy Story 3 ($415M).
Sicario: Day of the Soldado financed completely by Black Label Media. On the bright side, the pic is coming in ahead of its $9M-$13M tracking with an estimated $18.8M at 3,055 in 3rd place.
Lionsgate’s Uncle Drew didn’t cost as much as Soldado, in the high teens before P&A, which makes its chances for profitability down the road after all ancillaries a bit more promising after its current $16.8M opening weekend forecast in fourth place.
Estimates for JW2 will go up and incredibles 2 will go down

Yeah a meaningless Executive Producer credit wont' hurt, but if that website is right...and that is a big if....Snyder will have a major role in the Flash movie, which would be a kiss of death.
Yes,yes, I know Snyder chose Gadot as Wondy, but, as they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Actually he was a PRODUCER on Wonder Woman and not a meaningless one either. He even helped with the story. Go to IMDb and see for yourself. He has producer credit. Not a meaningless Executive either.

I think Zack is fine being a producer for DCEU. Feige is a producer for MCU i think he is fine with it too.
-
JW2 will do over 60 million. I am estimating 63-65 million. Which is a good drop

I am no Snyder fanboy. But to say he only produced shit is just trolling at this point. i also see you have no counter for Zack producing Wonder Woman..

awesome i hope Ariana and Joseph can come back too. I know Ariana said she is up for a return to facing the Dinos again.
-
Just pull the plug and do a reboot instead if Indy must live again on the big screens

If true, then the DCU has not learned a damn thing.
You are aware of Zack was a producer on Wonder Woman too right. He is a fantastic producer.

All I saw in Wonder Woman is slooooow motion. The first avenger basically destroys it and actually shows the era it’s is supposed to take place , unlike Wonder Woman. I mean they use captain America as a living ad for war bonds. I get that Wonder Woman is like citizen Kane/The Godfather/apocalypse now all rolled into one for desperate dc fans but at its core it’s a very average film that just happened to rally the butthurt, from ghostbusters2016, feminists in the U.S.
How on earth films like the dccu films have sincerity, from pa Kent advising Clark that he should have let a bus full of kids die to Batman being a homicide maniac to Superman being an unlikeable God, I have no idea.
This thread is amazing though, hadn’t read it for a long time and didn’t know that it has reached such amazing levels of entertainment 😂
could you actually be more up inside MCU's or Feige's ass. Every damn little post you make is you tongue licking MCU and badmouthing DC. Try finding new material because we get it you live to kiss MCU's and Feiges ass. You even go to such lengths wanting other movies to fail like JW2 just because of your precious MCU and its doing monster numbers anyway

A rather rare 3D box office update for JW:FK
Overall, Imax and premium large format repped 21% of Fallen Kingdom‘s weekend or $31.5M. Imax alone accounted for 9% of the seque’s domestic weekend with $13M at 410 auditoriums. Nine out of the top ten domestic locations featured an Imax screen. Of “Fallen Kingdom’s” $711 million haul,$380 million came from 3D ticket sales, along with $105 million from RealD 3D.
Go 3D !
