  1. EG's Indian BO will always be limited by the number of screens. Maybe wishful thinking but I'm still hoping that it can do $60M.

IW was so far ahead of the rest of Hollywood releases that it had reached almost saturation levels in urban centers in the first two weeks. Movies like Baahubali has the vast rural and tier 3 and tier 4 cities that it can collect money from.

Have talk with people in Disney China. Midnights as usual...Disney have no right to decide if they can arrange it or not.

How's the marketing for Endgame in China? I've had some Chinese friends say that Disney botched the IW marketing there especially in the rural and semi-urban regions. Going by Weibo, there's a ton of anticipation but I wonder if this is an urban phenomenon. Rural crowd is what usually gives a movie long legs.

Can it take down Avatar. Probably will need to beat TFA domestic and make 600m+ in China. I would say tough but not impossible.

For now something like 300/800/1.5B OS/2.3B WW is probable.

Honestly, Marvel should focus all their resources on marketing this in China, especially the rural and semi-urban regions. I'm betting that a record opening is on cards there but Chinese legs hugely depend on how much the rural crowd joins in. This is how movies like Wolf Warrior 2 make $870M.

This is NOWHERE NEAR an accurate count for right now, as seats are flying everywhere.  But I think the madness has cooled just enough to take a breather.

IW Day One Total: 4,662 tickets sold.

EG Day One SO FAR:  12,261 tickets sold :circles::circles::circles::circles::circles::circles::circles:

The Greater Sacramento area has something like 174 showings and counting and it's STILL at around 64% capacity!!! :circles::circles:

Any comps to TFA and TLJ?

This is absolutely freaking amazing. Looks

like the only thing that could stop Endgame from making 300+ million OW may be its run time. But may I ask why people rush to buy tickets on the first day? I like seeing movies the first weekend too. But surely, there will be tickets available tomorrow. Why go through the headache of crashing sites and long lines (online)? It’s the same reason that I never understood why people will camp outside of an Apple Store for the latest product. The iPhone or whatever will be there the following day.

Spoilers ofc and bragging rights FOMO
