They don't "buy" tickets to see RDJ. The fan event is completely free. Tickets are given out on a first-come-first-serve base.

Captain Marvel has played over a month with great hold while Shazam is dropping big after the first weekend. Not even the likes of Dumbo and Hellboy bombing is helping Shazam at all to hold at the box office. Think how big Shazam's drops would be if both Dumbo and Hellboy were even decent movies.
Shazam is targeted for kids, which means big drop on weekdays.

2 weeks before the others Deadline wrote $100m. Later Variety, THR, and so on wrote less. Only BOM picked up the $100m, all other BO specialised stay with the lower numbers.
Lower means: $80-$90m (that high is only one source), but mostly I've seen $81-$85m, with the most weight on the high side of that spread = $85m
The latest Variety says "98m". Hollywood reporter also says 100m.

It's a flop OS and did ok in US. Whether it's getting a sequel depends on DCEU's plan.
