You, Concentrate on Barbie and Oppenheimer and then forget about Box Office for the rest of the year because you will fall on depression when the rest of the movies 2023 even your faves all flop. People go to 1 or 3 movies a year probably these days.

Saw Barbie too it was great, and @kayumanggi your are right is not preachy as some people said it was more like true, people saying the movie is woke are gonna redifine the term to mean people in real life. Because be sure that even conservative women are gonna agree with the movie. Is more a message of kinda, people you are kennough.

They did not even perform prepandemic for how overly hyped those movies were. Pre pandemic hyped comic book movies made a billion. Guardians should have been a billion, not less than Vol. 2

The Barbie Marketing techniques can not be applied to wonka very different movies. And Barbie is an iconic doll that could be said nearly every woman played with.

Seem Greta Feminist choises were spot on, because her target audience are liking it, wich could translate to repeat viewings, wich could translate to great performance. And then all other movies probably flopping for the rest of the year.

Enjoy possibly the only 3 good box office performances of the year (Mario included), because everything else could probably flop, because people now see maybe 1 or 3 movies a year on theaters. So few could massively overperform while lots on theaters could flop. Barbie and Oppenheimer had buzz since they were annouced prepare for dissapoimtment for your faves.

If IMDB is 7.7 and you there is review bombing there, then this movie is more than fine.
