Monkey Man looking close to empty in my neck of the woods. 3 people booked in at 6pm and 5 people at 8.30pm.
I'm surprised, I think it looks pretty good.
First Omen much busier in a smaller screen.
Wicked has stiff competition going up against Moana 2. I dont think it even opens at #1 for the weekend. Then just in time for Christmas it will have its legs cut short by competition from The Lord of the Rings, Karate Kid, Sonic 3 and The Lion King.
Looking great for Dune in the cinemas around me. You can't get a good seat this weekend and the peak times tonight are sold out, not as good as Barbenheimer opening weekend though where you couldn't even get a seat by this point unless it was 9am or right at the front. Looking forward to seeing the numbers!
So far Wicked Little Letters looks small based on the cinemas in my area. I wonder if this might appeal to the older demographic who turn up on the day, or if the constant swearing and insults in the trailer is putting them off.
My local (Everyman) pulled their evening screening for Colour Purple on Friday and Saturday and replaced it with Anyone But You (Friday) and All of Us Strangers (Saturday).
People say musicals do well in the UK but it seems not all of them.
