i just dont see the biggest difference when we still had years where Dark Phoenix, Hellboy, Kick-Ass 2, Fant4stic, Green Lantern, Hulk '03, Elektra, Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance, Jonah Hex all come out and bomb/underperform in the midst of being the "golden era of CBMs"
if a movie looks good audiences will turn up. Apparently The Flash, Shazam, Blue Beetle and the Marvels didnt look that good to the GA

she literally does not explore any themes at all in the movie. its all very surface-level and nothing is expanded upon. Just sort of goes form this plot point to that plot point
i was approved the first time, because i had seen every movie on the list. out of curiosity, i signed up for the screening with a second email but only clicked two of the movies and it said "sorry you are not approved for this screening"
I then signed on with a third email (to get a pass for my friend) and clicked every movie and once again it approved for the test screening (we didn't know what the screening was for until we showed up at the theater)
I told you all, I attended the June 14th screening in Dallas. The movie received middling reviews because it was very "middle-of-the-road".
AND they only invited people who were big marvel fans because the questionaire we had to fill out asked if we had seen a list of movies that were mostly MCU movies with a few DC movies. when I signed up i got approved for the screening, I opened another account and tried to sign up but only clicked "having seen two" of the movies on the list and i was not approved, so they really were only wanting MCU/CBM fans to attend this screening, and the movie didnt really hit much with anyone save for a few moments here and there
yeah I saw it over the summer unfinished and i was kind of just wishing i had waited till it was complete because it was ROUGH to get through. If it was something like Captain America 2 or Black Widow it wouldnt have mattered because those weren't as VFX-reliant as the Marvels was
the version i saw back in June did not have
in itbut i have heard from someone who saw the updated print with cleaned up VFX and final runtime that THAT is what the final version is. Like i said, the one I saw was many months ago during the writer's strike so i'm not sure how long ago they filmed the "new" version of that midcredits scene.
