Greatest of All Time 9/10 12:30 PM 2 people including myself Trailers: 2 indian films that I don't remember Captain America Brave New World Gladiator II Really enjoyed the movie, other person there seemed to like it. Not a fan of how expensive it is (18 dollars vs 12-14 otherwise) and how you can't use film passes to get in.

Rear Window Wed 8/28 7:00 PM Regal Theater 11 People Fathom event so no trailers, just ads for their upcoming releases. Was a bit miffed from Leonard Maltin presentation about how the opening is slow and deliberate (no it isn't, it's economical and dense there's a difference) and how you can't imagine something like that done nowadays when Evil Does Not Exist and possibly in A Violent Nature (haven't seen it but from what I've seen of trailers it should open slow) have those slow openings and are successful critically. Anyway movie was fantastic. Crowd was into it. Few claps at the end.

Lawrence of Arabia 8/11 7:00 PM 3 people including myself Fathom event so no trailers One guy thought they forgot the film because of the overture at the beginning that ended just as he said that. Otherwise no reaction from others. I consider it a good film that has an excellent first half and an okay second half.

Kneecap 8/4 5:00 PM Independent theater Trailers: Good one Didi Between the Temples 8 people I think Crowd seemed into it. Also a couple walkouts, so 6 people at the end. Funny enough, there was a fan who wore the band t shirt to the screening and it looked like the people who came in other than me were a group.

Seven Samurai (4k restoration rerelease) 7/26 7:00 PM (only showing that day) Independent Theater 4 people including myself Trailers: Here Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Wicked Not much of a reaction from crowd, I know I got into it. Great film, bit slow in the first half but picks up in the second. Thank goodness for the intermission was tired by end of it.

Longlegs Independent Theater 7:45 PM Sunday July 21 Trailers: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Joker: Foile a Deux Kneecaps 5 people including me showed up. Not much of a reaction from the crowd except for a yelp in a setup scene at the beginning that involves a loud noise. I thought it was good, but not worth running to the theater to see.

Close Encounters of the third kind (fathom event) Regal Theater 7:00 PM Wednesday 10th ~5 people No trailers. No reaction from audience. Movie was alright.

Run Lola Run (rerelease) 7:45 PM 6/9 7 people including myself Trailers: Thelma Kinds of Kindness Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (teaser) I know I reacted well to the action scenes. (Whooshing) Very stylish film. Can see why the wachowskis were fans. No one else seemed to react though. Before trailers there was a play called Nye that was advertised that got a bit of chatter as part of National Theater program.

Evil Does Not Exist 6/2 2:45 PM ~12 people Trailers: I Saw The TV Glow Thelma Might be more trailers since I got there late, but those were the two I saw. A couple sniffles at the ending, a woman wanted an explanation for the final shot. I liked it. Very naturalistic.

May 4 Independent theater Star Wars Episodes IV-VI 12 2 and 4 respectively times not exact. Arrived late for new hope so no trailers Although the only trailer for the other 2 was Furiosa. ~15, 20 and 5 in order. Most parents were surprised that their kids sat through it, a couple kids wanted to see the next one some people I heard were splitting the trilogy up, i.e. seeing iv today and v and vi tomorrow.

May 5 Mars Express Regal Multiplex ~7:30 PM Trailers: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Deadpool and wolverine Borderlands The Wild Robot 4 people including me. Movie was cool nice to see animation for adults not a comedy. GKids did a really bad job of promoting this one and only saw it via an animation YouTuber I follow tweet about it.

Io Capilano Thursday 3/15 at 5 at indie theater Trailers: wicked Little Letters Love lies bleeding Problemista (?) Not sure I spelled that right. 3 people including me. No reaction movie was ok.

Hundreds of Beavers Independent Theater 2/18 7:30 Trailers: Robot Dreams Dune Part Two Around 30 people showed up. Laughs throughout. Incredible film, one of the funniest I've ever seen. See it if you can.

Poor Things 2/18 4:15 PM ~15 people at an independent theater Trailers: Hundred Beavers The Taste of Things Dune Part Two Robot Dreams Amelie (rerelease) (Likely not in correct order) Unfortunately, there was someone behind me talking during the movie. People seemed a bit squeamish at some of the medical procedures. Special note is that the theater ran a lot of movies that day so this was the only showing that day.

The Zone of Interest Independent Theater 2/17 at 8:00 Trailers: The taste of things Amelie (rerelease) Robot Dreams There was another trailer but I can't remember it. Around 10 people came to the show. Powerful film, don't miss it.

American Fiction at an independent theater 1/14 - 7:45 PM Trailers: Mean Girls Dune Part Two Poor Things ~13 people including myself. Some laughs throughout. Everyone seemed to like it. Apparently it's doing well.

Soul Rerelease 1/14 ~7:30 Trailers: Ordinary Angels Kung Fu Panda 4 Garfield Movie Inside Out 2 I was the only person in the showing. Also there was a bizarre trailer for a movie? webseries? about stolen makeup that told people to go to a website. It felt like a regular advertisement for said makeup that was oddly placed in the middle of the trailers.
