    Just came back from the movie. Oh boy, what was feige thinking? How could he approve this movie? Modok was a joke, and ants beating the shit out of kang? Seriously? Beside that some of the visuals were great and i liked the quantum universe. Majors was great as kang (i was really pissed how they beat/killed him).  I hope feige will announce the x-men/wolverine in the near future, or otherwise i will lose complete interest in the mcu.

    - It´s only because of the high ticket prices

    It looked too generic and appeared to lack the charisma of the first film...Albeit, trailers are deceptive, but not a great marketing sign.

     

    The biggest problem i have with shazam is that everyone of his friends has now powers. The coolest and best thing about shazam 1, billy was the only with powers (most of the time). The power up the friends got at the end, should have been temporally. But this permanent power up all of them got, killed it for me. There is nothing unique about billy anymore. I have zero desire to see it at the cinema, maybe when its on bluray or hbo.

    I watched the movie for the 4th time, and this scene still hits like a f***** truck. I´m a grown man and avatar 2 and coco were the only movies which brought me to tears.

    "Avatar 2" just can't be stopped.  These numbers overall are crazy.   But it's domestic was probably hurt more by competition.  In fairness, "Top Gun" had a lot of comp too.  But "No Way Home" blew the competition away domestically.   Those are the 3 Biggest Domestic Films post pandemic.    I think "Puss in Boots" has turned into a huge surprise domestically.   The fact they haven't made a "Shrek 5" they are leaving big money on the table.   "Megan" is also one of the nice surprises, over 100 Domestic I did not expect for that.   

     

    Shrek 5 was teased in PIB.
