  1. Need Star Trek into Darkness Trailer!!! (Probably in front of The Hobbit)after seeing the were their advertising for "The Wolverine" I'm very interested to know what the trailer will be like. (Life of Pi maybe?, Hobbit?)Oblivion sounds intriguing.. but I need to see that trailer so I can get a better feel for what it's like (Hobbit? is Skyfall too early?)Pacific Rim (Hobbit I'm betting) & And R.I.P.D sound interesting too. (Les Mis possibly there both universal.)

  2. When Disney said they were, in part, buying Marvel Comics/Studios to broaden their appeal for the male demographic they meant that. They paid $4 Billion in 2009--3years later we got The Avengers.

It was announced today, October 30, 2012 that for another $4 Billion they've just purchased Lucasfilm. And slated for Star Wars Episode VII to come out 3 years later in 2015.

Just as Marvel Studios already had Avengers building when Disney bought it I firmly believe that despite Lucas' saying otherwise there are scripts, treatments and production elements in place ready to go that make the 2015 target for SW epVII quite realistic.

So Disney which up until 2009 knew it had an image problem cause it's main source of appeal was to little girls and tweens who loved their Princess: Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Bell, Mulan etc.

Now 3 years later they have Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader etc.

Is it safe to say that they now have the male demo locked up and diversity enough in their catalogue to not be buying up anything else for awhile? If so, what's out there unclaimed. If Marvel Comics and Star Wars don't give you the male demo nothing will.

Um I'm a guy and I was a fan of Disney long before they got their hands on "Marvel" or "Star Wars" pretty much my two favorite franchises ever.

and the had lots of stuff for the male demographic, "The Lion King, Aladdin, PotC,.." not to mention pretty much any guy who was a kid in the 90s and grow up on Disney (like me) liked, Beauty and the Beast Little Mermaid, Mulan Ect..

but yes, Star Wars and Marvel are pretty much the biggest male driven franchise's ever, but that doesn't mean they don't have a HUGE female fan base as well,

in other words Disney + Marvel + Star Wars = Infinity and Beyond. and lets not Forget Pixar.

  3. they should just make it take place at a time relativity within the ages of the actors now, CGI, to de-age makes the actors look weird. and make-up could probably take 10 years off them, then making them in their 50s and perfect ages for their children to be front and center. I heard they were going for an original story. which is fine. but I hope they don't totally disregard everything that happened in the EU, like at least, Keep Mara Jade and, Jaina, Jacen, Anakin solo, and Ben Skywalker, or at the very least make them have offspring, the family-center of the EU,was what made it so personal and that's what they need for the new trilogy.

  6. I read it, it Liked it, but It didn't tie off things like a thought it would and could have been quite a bit better, what I loved the most about the fate of the jedi series was the Maturing of Jaina Solo's(for those of you who don't know she is the daughter of Han and Leia solo, and a Jedi Knight) character. she's goes from being a head strong Jedi knight, to a refined master.

  7. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has been able to adapt Wonder Woman in live action format. They keep trying and they keep failing. Turns out Hollywood doesn't know how to write for her.

they never even got a film out though, she was one of the best characters in the Justice League cartoon imo. I know it would be really hard to make a good adaption, but if they do it right, it could be one of my favorite super hero films, WW is probably my 5th or 6th favorite superhero so you can kind of see why I want her to have a film of her own.

  9. If they do a Justice League movie, I don't want it to have Batman in it. I know, I sound crazy saying that, but Batman had his story arc in the Nolan series.

this Is kind of what I think, however I think it should have Nightwing, and Joseph Gordon Levitt should play him, kind of like a connection to The Nolan films but not necessarily the same.

  10. lately Superhero films have been better than most other movies being released the superhero era might cool off someday, but not any time soon, and it will more likely just be a more modernized version of Super hero film that takes it's place. they'll probably still be making sh films for well forever probably, but they should still be very popular for at least an other 10 years.
