  1. I love Dinklage, but it seems as if he's the Emmy's default male GoT nominee. Emilia? Love her but NO.  Sam Heughan and/or Tobias Menzies deserved a nod for Outlander, just for the last two episodes alone.  BUT, we know how the Emmys treat fantasy/sci-fi and they probably think they more than fulfilled their obligation with GoT, Maslany, and AHS.  LOVE the Finn Witrock nom.  He was terrifyingly psycho as Dandy.

  2. I actually think that Alexa Davalos would be great.  Looks-wise at least.  If she left her hair curly, it would match very well with Kit's. I imagine they'd go with a British actress instead though.  And Alexa might look a tad too old for Lyanna.

No Lily James, lol.  There are plenty of already brunette actresses out there.

  3. This airs on Saturday night but is available now on HBO Go.

Just got done watching it and I couldn't stop laughing. Highly recommend it if you want a laugh or 50.

REALLY dirty though, and if you don't like Andy Samberg's schtick you won't like this. But it's hysterical.

Kit Harington needs to do more comedy. He played that part perfectly. The celeb cameos made it even better.

  4. All the clues and logic are there in the books and even the show. It's just Kit's two interviews that are throwing people for a loop. However, I said what I think about that in previous posts.

Also, why would GRRM hinge whether or not he gives D&D the rights to the show on them guessing Jon's mom if it's irrelevant in the end? Or if she's some nobody?

  5. That's what I mean though.

I think they knew darn well that nearly 100% of book readers would be telling everyone "he's not really dead" therefore spoiling their big shocker. So they put those articles out immediately after the airing. I mean why else have John Bradley "debunk" theories?

It's like they're trying way too hard to counter what they know all book readers are saying.

A lot of people will stop watching if he's dead, and if they wanted to curb that and have people still wanting to watch the next season, they would have just let that go even IF it wasn't true. Because then people would be left with some kind of hope.

But either way they're kind of killing the show somewhat by having him talk. It seems like he's talking TOO much.

  6. Well, all I'll say is that, if he is, it's the stupidest fucking thing in the entire book series and show.

Every other death had some point. Either the character impacted a lot of things or their death did. Jon's ENTIRE book arc would have been pointless. 100% pointless. So, if that's the case, I lose a lot of respect for GRRM. Why have us spend all that time with a character for no reason whatsoever?

  7. And stupid tweet of the night goes to... @zensmile :

".@HBO, that was a really stupid deviation from the #GameofThrones book. #johnsnow was the only reason I was watching. I'm done w/ you now."

I get people getting mad at deviations but... that wasn't a deviation. At all. Besides more than 3 (and different) guys stabbing him and no wildlings being around, it was identical to the book.
