  1. I don't think you can just add someone to take over Colbert's show. Because of the way he based the show on his conservative character, you can't really just drop a new person in that role. As great as Stewart has been on the Daily Show, he can be replaced without changing the shows format. Comedy Central is going to have to create a brand new show once Colbert leaves.

  2. Perhaps you guys don't understand the craft of acting, if you think DiCaprio wasn't brilliant in WOWS.

Phil said he has great screen presence, which I take to mean his roles are enjoyable. The issue is does he "act" or just play himself. I'd say Dicaprio has been in a lot of very good movies, but I don't think he has exceptional range as an actor. And his accents are terrible/nonexistent. But is he still entertaining? Yes. And that's really what matters.

  3. Speaking of SPR, seeing Paul Giamatti, Leland Orser, Dennis Farina and Ted Danson in the film really surprised me too.

The entire cast of SPR was fantastic. Giovanni Ribisi is another guy I always forget about. And the guy from Lost, Jeremy Davies.

  5. Big Fish (the funeral scene)

The end of Big Fish is so well done, and I would be worried about someone if they didn't cry a bit during those parts. The middle may be a little uneven, but it will always be one of my favorite movies because of those last few scenes.
  6. Is that so much a bad thing, to be easier on sex and harder on violence?Sometimes I prefer to see genuine lovemaking, instead of sex for sex's sake which is all that porn is.

I think he is worried they will get tougher on violence but keep their stance on sex and nudity.
  7. Get rid of it entirely, any child could see hardcore graphic porn on the internet if they want to anyway, so stopping people from seeing films because of much milder things is just silly.

That's not a fair comparison. I agree the ratings are stupid and arbitrary, but the general point of them is supposed to be so parents can determine if they want their kids to see a particular movie. It's harder for parents to control internet, unless they look over their shoulders the entire time.
