Breezy and full of good vibes and pretty scenery, even when every story beat can be seen coming from miles away. Of course, we don't go to a romcom for the story as much as we do for the chemistry between the stars, and that's enough for this to overcome most of its storytelling shortcomings. We know from their previous collaborations that George Clooney and Julia Roberts have sensational chemistry together, and unsurprisingly, they once again recreate that magic here. The always charming Kaitlyn Dever manages to avoid fading into the background like most characters of the sort in these kinds of movies usually do. It won't go down as a new romcom classic, but it makes for an agreeably pleasant way of spending an afternoon with your mom or grandma at the movies. B
