Saw this over the holidays and found it engaging and professionally made in typical Michael Mann fashion, with some flashes of greatness (the Mille Miglia crash is suitably harrowing), but the especially narrow focus means there isn't as much depth inside Ferrari's life as there should be. Although his Italian accent here isn't much better than his one in House of Gucci, Adam Driver does give yet another excellent performance otherwise that makes up for a number of the script's shortcomings. Penelope Cruz is the acting highlight of the movie, it's a surprise she hasn't generated more awards buzz for this.

While it won't go down as one of 2023's best movies, the positives (especially the racing scenes, which were designed for surround sound listening) are more than enough to make this biopic very much worth experiencing in a movie theater.
