Cmon, what a boring name change. What was wrong with
Birds of Prey: A Harley Quinn Story: Part 8 of the Detective Comics Saga
Cant wait to see the upcoming James Gunn WB/DC movie Harley Quinn: Suicide Squad
-
Do you think WB might be a little worried about Gunn’s Suicide Squad seeing as how BoP was kind of like its spinoff sequel (like the Hobbs & Shaw of the Fast Furious franchise)?
Think we will see WB advertise Suicide Squad as “from the director that brought you Guardians of the Galaxy”?

All of these news especially the Deadline article including their updates all seems to be just coming from Sony’s side...
Nothing yet from Disney...

If Marvel just released that final act of Endgame alone, it could still make $2 billion.

Three things was disappointed with:
1) Episode was just too dark and foggy and had so many close up shots that it was hard to see most of what was going on.
2) Unbelievable how many of the major characters like Jamie, Jon, Brianne, Gendry all survived considering they were shown being literally surrounded by walkers with their backs against the wall. Sam survived longer than most of the minor character fighters?
3) Night King dead just like that? That simple? Arya who came from practically nowhere with the save and the stab? Did she ran and jump past all those white walkers and all of the Night King’s generals?

This was more satisfying than GoT by billions of miles btw
Disappointed with tonight’s episode myself. Didn’t help that I could barely make anything out the episode was just too dark to see.

my god, disney really loves those round up number
Quick and to the point. They got the number they wanted, that’s all folks. Unlike WB who loves adding .3 at the end most of the time. 😄

charlie said that with actuals could be 99-100 pure friday, so possible 159 with actuals
Charlie’s numbers are on the hype side. Best to stick with the lower conservative side and be surprised at the end.

Perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Is Thanos like the most quotable villain or what?
Dread it, run from it!

$109 sounds right. I like conservative numbers. Not going to listen to anymore of charlie’s high end predictions.

$153 is coming from Gitesh, don’t see it anywhere else. How is it official?
Deadline’s morning update is $157.5 while Charlie saying $159...

Are you insane? True Friday was under $100 million. $125 is nearly impossible. It's not low at all. It's amazing.
Probably thought that number was Friday+previews due to all the commotion

6TH UPDATE, Saturday 6:19 AM Writethru following Friday 10:14 PM post: And with a snap, Avengers: Endgame is swelling, just as expected. Industry estimates as of last night for Friday stand at $157.5M (including $60M record previews), which is $38.4M more than Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ opening and single day record of $119.1M.
Deadline’s morning update has it at $157.5

Every record that Endgame breaks, it's only fitting to post this next to the numbers.

Have you guys seen the Google Easter egg about Endgame?
Just Google “Thanos” and click on the Infinity Gauntlet. Afterwards do it again.
pretty neat 😂

I'm gonna have to stay spoiler free for about...48 more hours? I'm going at 7 on Friday, but as long I don't accidentally click on the spoiler thread because BOT mobile fucks me over then I should probably be ok
It’s real. I’ve accidentally clicked on the spoiler thread because of its close proximity to this thread. Ended up reading a spoiler, which was when I realized I was in the wrong thread. 🤬

I can’t believe they don’t have a joker film in there ......
Joker wishes he was Harley Quinn right now.
A solo movie, a buddy movie with Joker, GCS, BOP, and SS2. Maybe even pop up in The Batman or Batgirl or Nightwing.
WB, milking that Margot.
Wonder Woman 1984 | Dec 16 2020 OS | Dec 25 2020 US and on HBO MAX

Either Rotten Tomaotes do not have good forecasters, or WB (which has a part ownership stake with RT) has really questionable marketing.
WW84 is the 2nd time WB/RT have pulled a “Certified Fresh” but, it’s really not, like it did with JOKER last year.
They basically put most of the positive reviews in early first, enough to “certify it fresh” to hype its release and put it in their marketing, before slowly adding the negatives. By then no one cares, since the premature certification did it’s job for the marketing.
