And the movie was expected to drop 10%-15% on Sunday by most here... A monday in the 15M-20M is not out of the table just yet. -
I for one would be thrilled to take my mom to a wonder woman movie on mother's day. It would just give the movie a small bump that is all.

People over MOS's IMDB board also really want a Wonder Woman movie. WB needs to make it happen, they also better do a decent GL movie down the line.

Don't know if someone responded, Orphan Black chick, tatiana maslany. She's getting a lot of recognition might have to check out the series. Told y'all about a soft drop on sunday. Increase seems too good to be true though.

Domestically yes. Overseas possibly. Worldwide very likely.

MOS had the highest opening day of the year in the UK but the weekend was a bit behind IM3.

NO, I'm talking about about the first week, full seven days. Most SH movies double that figure. I'm using the full week instead of the weekend because it evens out weekday openings and holydays.

I think people are too hung up on the weekend. Like Tele said weekdays are equally as important. If we use a first week to total ratio most SH movies perform in the 1.8-2.3 range, with 2.0 being the average. If MOS first week gross is around 170M than a 350M is a very real posibility.

I think people are forgetting that Superman is huge bait for fathers/sons, so I wouldn't be surprised by a soft drop on Sunday. MOS will have summer weekdays ahead of it and July is wide open, very few surefire or monster hits on the way. Plus WOM seem to be pretty good so a 3.0 multiplier is possible (same as 300 btw).

It's made 26M from overseas already. So it's gonna be closer to 180M worldwide by the end of the weekend no?

The real hope is for a marginal drop on Sunday, Superman+FD just seems like a great combo.

ROTJ>ROTS TDKR>ROTK I rank trilogies: 1. Toy Story 2. Star Wars 3. Godfather 4. TDK 5. LOTR I love LOTR but jackson kind of dropped the ball in both sequels.

Personally I felt Bane was a weak villain and the production design was meh. Definitely the worst in the trilogy but still better than most second sequels.

There are really no other 3-day comparable titles to MOS. The more comparable, TASM, Begins and Returns titles opened on a weekday so it's best to wait till we have an idea of the full first week. The question is if we count walmart or not in projecting totals.
