Yes they are.Because the Harry Potter films are such intelligent movies right? GTFO.

It really should have no problem passing Wanted's total, if it makes less than 134m it would be pretty disappointing. My worst case Prometheus' projection:Mon: 5.3Tues: 5.3 -0%Wed: 4 -25%Thurs: 3.8 -5%Fri:6.5 +70% loses IMAXSat:8.4 +30%Sun:5.6 -30% gets no boost from the Fathers day.Worst case second weekend drop is 60%
-
Would have been nice if it had managed to top 5.5m.SW passes 100m, not a bad effort.
-
Good hold for Prometheus, it is expected though.
-
I'm thinking 20-22m atm.
-
Not a letdown we didn't see coming, Titanic and TDI have down well, Dictator had a modest gross and A Thousand Words never had much going for it.Paramount is the one big letdown.
-
Prometheus this weekend? Close to a 60% drop, similar drop to SW.What gross do you expect this weekend?
-
I would have expected WB to be 2nd at the least this time of the year, ideally DS should have grossed twice as much and WOTT about 20m more.
-
Prometheus should have a soft drop.
-
Merlin could be huge.Didn't list them all, butThe Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica (7 books), more than 4 years as well as Merlin and others.
-
Prometheus posting some pretty damn good numbers.
-
Exciting Survivor week here, came right down to the wire. Any word on the next season jmovies?

Should have our decision soon.

Yeh it is quiet scary to think about what he could be, he is an ultimate bad guy. I didn't think much of him at the start, I actually thought tarlock could be aman. Now he is a really credible threat.I wonder if he's even human, the way he resisted Tarlok's bloodbending.

IM3 will benefit most, Thor will also see an increase but I was expecting one before TA success anyway but TA just solidifies my prediction, there really isn't much excuse for IM3 not passing the first IM (I'm thinking 142m/330m) an about 76m for Thor 2 on OW and 210m Domestic. IM should gross 450m OS and Thor 2 350m.

The KNIGHTS! I told you riczhang, we can win this.
-
Yes but nothing that could extend 8 films, they'll find temporary replacements (franchises lasting 3-4 years) but losing the highest grossing franchise of all time would definitely be felt.Potter can be replaced. WB has so many fantasy projects in the works that could hit HP numbers.
-
Yep TDKR is going to beat is DOM and OS.

On the topic of WB's franchise situation at the moment. At the moment they have, The Hangover, Sherlock Holmes, The Hobbit, 300They also have Man of Steel trying to break out next summer, Pacific Rim should do very well and I see Arthur and Lancelot turning into something big for WB, Damn Potter has left a massive hole.

Absolutely great film, the grim tone was really highlighted by the amazing score, I absolutely agree with what you guys said, by the end the sex becomes so meaningless and mechanical it almost disgusts you, and it was a very sad scene when he had a shot at something real and he just couldn't overcome the addiction, because it had meaning he couldn't perform, it really shows you how addiction is a sad and dangerous place. I thought it was very well done minus a few scenes that could have been slightly shorter and the scene were he cries in the rain didn't really do much for me. Fassbender is amazing and so is Mulligan. One thing the film is very reserved about is the relationship between the brother and sister, do they have a sexual relationship?A-

As long as it manages 200m domestic I'm happy, anything less than that is just crap.

Good for Promtheus, should pass 50m then, just.Madagascar under 60m if 16.5-17m range is right.Sunday looking to have some impovement on Prom MIB3 & TA, MAD3 down, Prom 13.5-14, Mad3 16.5-17, SWATH around 6.8, MIB3 3.8, TA 3.3

I don't see it being a huge hit in Latin America, probably will have a modest run in most of those territories, 300m isn't locked but I would put money on it passing 300m than not.
