That's great for B&B. Let's see what happens today.
-
I'm not sure Sat will drop much from Friday if at all. Jungle Book increased 27.5% from Friday to Saturday. B&B maybe slightly frontloaded but people who want to see it may have had other plans for st patty day. Those people will go today or tomorrow.

Still cant see how this could do 170m like Deadline is predicting..
It would need a 60m Saturday followed by a 45 m Sunday.
They wrote that the film seems to have a decent amount of walk ups. If true Saturday could be huge.

Deadline is reporting B&B got an A cinemascore which isn't surprising. That fits the twitter reactions I seeing.

Disney is still be more cautious than non Disney industry estimates. They are trying to lower expectations.
A lot of comments on twitter and mostly positive. It's going to have good legs.

I was guessing 150m. I'm feeling good about that.

"UPDATED: “Beauty and the Beast” is already having a magical weekend at the nation’s multiplexes with an estimated opening of upwards of $165 million already in sight, estimates showed Friday.
Disney indicated on Friday afternoon that it expects the live-action musical to finish in a range between $140 million to $155 million, before raising projections to $155 million to $165 million in the evening.
“Beauty and the Beast” had already banked nearly $40 million at noon PDT with pre-sales and a stellar $16.3 million from Thursday night previews. The first-day total approached $60 million to $63 million in the evening."

No matter what this is a massive hit for Disney. It's just how big of a hit. Chances are it will make back it's production budget in one weekend.

I think it would need some really good reviews to get that high. But it's def got a good shot at it.

Idk. It's a thriller but it feels like an indie they are trying to make bigger than what it is because of the cast. Ponsoldt's work isn't for everyone. I'll be happy if it makes 10m OW.

This thread confused the hell out of me. People acting like numbers came in and there are none, just gifs. Ya'll suck.

I was always hoping for 150 but it will be cool to see it break the record. Entertainment Weekly predicts 180m.
-
Vaughn would be a step up. Question is if he would do it.

100M+ is also not out of the question.
Yes it is.

Hiddleston's performance as Swift's boyfriend was pretty unbelievable. Writing it on a tank top didn't help matters.

Will I have to watch the last one to know what's going on in this one?

I like the idea of a John Wick crossover.

No. He's not like Pratt even if JW is Pratt's most bland performance.

I really like Brie but sometimes I can't picture her as Captain Marvel. I wish she had more to do in this movie.

Well crap I didn't reserve tickets because of my work schedule and just looked and all the digital seats are pretty much sold out for the entire day ? There's some three 3D seats left at 945pm (side seating) and 1030pm but I don't want 3D.
