The past couple years have broken me in terms of "wait, that movie or show is that old?" Realizing that Ratatouille is over 15 years old was utterly surreal. I can still picture myself being 10 years old and watching all the promos on Disney Channel hyping it up. What a world we live in.

I mean the Rocky movies made massive bank on the Thanksgiving holiday. I think the bigger issue is just that both years had intense December competition that made it hard for the movie to maintain screen space. Like on Creed II's fifth weekend, five different movies came out. Three of them were the major December players. That's a lot to deal with.
