Technically the correct answer is yes. Because the question wasn't what was the Tue-Thu gross but what will the gross be after Thu actuals. Not that I believe it really hit 75m, but we have to go by the numbers reported.

Terrible Thursday number for TASM. I'm super pissed at Sony for fudging the numbers and costing me points in the summer game, like fuck it just scaped past $75m. I'm tempted to hate on this film in protest, even though I won't be seeing it till next Tuesday.

The number we were given for Tuesday was $35m, now it's only $34.18m with $850,000 on Monday. So obviously they lumped the Monday previews in with the $7.5 reported midnights. So the actual midnight figure was $6.85m.
