Wouldn't be surprised. I was expecting some big names on the soundtrack.

Holy shit, 3h 8m runtime? Thats about 45-60 minutes longer than all the other latest installments.

This movie was unbelievably bad. What a massive disappointment. The writing is terrible and the whole movie is one big exposition after another and filled with pointless characters that I imagine are just there so they can be included in the trailer. 3/10 would no recommend no matter how bad I want cinema and theatres to recover. Can't imagine how this got good reviews.

Media outlets trying to paint Cruise in bad light with their headlines but response to this has been 90% positive from what I can tell.

How much would someone like Eric Roberts get paid to make a movie like that, 25k?

I'm a fan of the second movie, used to watch it a lot when I was younger. Zero excitement for this. Looks awkward and gives me Dumb and Dumber To vibes.

I feel like all these movies will just end up being further postponed. Can't imagine theaters being opened by December the way things are going, and even if they do not many people will want to go.

this will probably move since its demo is in the danger zone for the deadly virus
From the looks of how the US is handling things I wouldn't expect any movie to open there for many months unfortunately.

Alright movie. Hadn't seen any ads for it so didn't know it was a comedy. That being said the comedy in the movie is alright but it's the kind of movie that you'd have to be very socially aware of to get the jokes and even then then you'll have a chuckle or two but not much more. Overall having had no real expectations I was still let down.

Beat me to it.
He's really selling this. I'm getting pumped and I'm not even a huge fan of the original.

I'm not a superhero movie fan so this movie is no way geared towards me but this movie looks so generic for the genre that it should just be called Superhero Origin The Movie

I don't think I ever saw him say good words about The Mummy despite his involvement with the film. The man doesn't sugar coat doo doo. So, this is relatively good news for Maverick.
He outright avoided any questions about the movie and didn't once say a positive word about it. Baby Drive and Chernobyl and some other really good movies he really pumped up before release and now he's done the same with Maverick a few times.

He's spoken really highly about the movie a few times on twitter now. Every time he does that with a movie it usually ends up being really good.

So, does this movie actually have a plot?
Trailers spoil the whole plot and people complain. Trailer doesn't spoil the plot and people complain. Never change internet.

This could be big. Havent had a "fuck yeah, murica" type movie in a while. -
Great trailer, might end up being Cruises biggest opening weekend.

I still don't buy the "he did all his own stunts" BS.
