    This film seems to be so secretive.It looks like they aren't filming yet and if they are they have managed to do so away from the media.Also,a full cast hasn't been announced yet. I have to say after reading People's report on what the film is about that this is Jolie's most exciting project in quite some time.It sounds like it could have shades of Kubrick,Polanski or Chabrol.Also,Christian Berger who has worked with Michael Haneke is the film's cinematographer so given that,the film's setting and the subject matter it sounds like Jolie may be going for a very European feel with this. I hope we get some pics soon.

    This sounds amazing! I was already looking forward to it but this has ratcheted up my excitement even more.Most exciting sounding project Jolie has done in quite some time.

    I am presuming that shooting will begin this week?

    I don't think this has started shooting yet like some outlets seem to think.There surely would have been pap shots of Pitt and Jolie either on location or in Malta or reports of sightings of them.

    Presumably Green is in talks for the role that Jolie had talks over.I wonder why those talks didn't pan out?

    A number of outlets have been reporting that shooting begins today but there have not been any pics of either Jolie or Pitt at the shooting location yet.Surely if they were there they would have been photographed by now.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it was somebody like Cate Blanchett or Kate Winslet though Sandra Bullock doesn't seem to have anything lined up for the fall and I do think conceivably that Burton would go for her.Given Jolie and Melissa McCarthy being mentioned in the past Burton is clearly open to casting a leftfield choice in the role and I think that Bullock could be great.

    I think that Meryl is shooting the Jonathan Demme film in the fall so I would imagine that she won't be in "Miss Peregrine" either.

    I am presuming that this means she is not doing "Miss Peregrine" as that is due to start shooting next month .I'm still very excited about "By The Sea" though.

    So do you mean that you think it's possible that Jolie is doing it?

    I am presuming that both were being mentioned in connection with the Miss Peregrine role as that is the only character from the book that it could be.I really hope that Jolie does it and I hope we hear some casting news as soon as possible though presumably we will as it is due to start shooting next month.The makers launched a casting search to find an actor for the lead role of Jacob back in April.

    Us Weekly are now reporting that Jolie and Pitt are arrivng in Malta at the end of August for an 8 week shoot for their film.That is the second outlet that has reported this.Does this mean she isn't doing "Miss Peregrine" I wonder?That is to begin shooting in August as well.

    The story was reported by a group known as L.A. Leakers,a movie inisider site and probably the best I have ever come across.They were incredibly reliable.They reported that Jolie was chasing Tim Burton's film adaptation of "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children",it was also mentioned in the same report that Meryl Streep was being mentioned too. A few days later another member of the group reported that Jolie was in talks about doing it (Streep's name may have been mentioned in this report too but don't quote me on it). I hope shes does the film.Burton is of course a genius and they are a perfect match and the book is absolutely wonderful and though not an obvious choice to play Miss Peregrine I think she would be an inspired one and would be fantastic in the role.Fingers crossed!We should know any day now anyway as filming is due to start next month.

    I really hope Jolie does the Burton film.L.A. Leakers (who were incredibly reliable) reported that she was chasing the film and we rarely,if ever,hear of her chasing an acting project.Her and Burton are a match made in movie heaven plus she would be a fantastic choice for the Miss Peregrine role.Fingers crossed!

    I know it's somewhat off topic but has anybody heard any casting news on the Tim Burton film she was reported to be in talks for?

    If E! is correct in terms of the shooting schedule then I presume that that would mean that Jolie isn't doing the Burton film which is a pity as I was hoping she would be doing that as that is supposed to begin shooting in August as well.I too read on L.A. Leakers that she was in talks for it so I'm wondering if she will be doing it ?
