My local drive in is playing Fantastic Four with Pixels which is an even bigger joke. -
Is it just me or did Season 2 go by faster than 1 ? I forgot last week that it was already episode 7.
-
Hoping I get back in time from The Gift to catch the True Detective finale tonight.
-
Planning on going to the movies with my dad and brother and asked him if he'd rather see The Gift or Fantastic Four. He's not the type to know a movie's reception but he said he saw online that Fantastic Four was awful and that The Gift looked pretty good. Can't remember the last time bad WOM affected someone I know from seeing a movie.
-
Really ? That sucks.I thought it was already confirmed that he wasn't coming back.
-
It'd be nice if they got Branagh back. From the source material it seems like he could do it justice.Yeah, I hope they get someone good behind it and we get a good movie out of it

I'm still pulling for Ragnarok.Poor Thor.
He's looking at having a medocre trilogy while Cap might have one of the best trilogies of all time.
-
That and Thor's story were the only problems I had with it.Ultron being to comedic killed it for me.
-
Kingsman is still my # 1 movie this year with Fury Road a close second.
-
Even though it's in my bottom 3 of MCU movies I'll take Iron Man 2 anyday over Thor 2.
-
Good I'm planning on going tomorrow. Was the twist as good as everyone says ?Guys am just back from the Gift and WOW
The best thriller of the year so far - no doubt about that. LOVED.
-
I remember a guy walked out of the theatre after the Mandarin reveal. Mostly everyone else seemed to enjoy Trevor.
-
The first was decent enough but The Dark World is the only MCU movie I don't enjoy. The best part to me was the Collector credit scene and that was done by Gunn. Hopefully Ragnarok gets The Winter Soldier treatment.MCU's only misfires for me have been the solo Thor movies.
The two Thor movies are mediocre as hell. But they do well OS and Chris Hems get a paycheck. Good for him I guess?

After this I think FOX would be best to keep Fantastic Four and X-Men seperate. Even with a different cast and completely ignoring this reboot I don't see it doing well. X-Men is fine on its own.The FF/X-Men movie is already on the schedule. So I think they already know they can do it. I think an audience will be there for a good movie. First Class saved the X-Men brand without setting the world on fire.

I'm pulling for The Gift to over perform.F4 nearly sold out the 8pm show, but The Gift did surprisingly well, too.
-
That's where I figured it would end up and I thought I was lowballing. With that OD it's probably doing like 5m for the 5 day.
-
So where should Shaun be for the 5-Day ?
-
Grillo made Anarchy for me.Purge: Anarchy was like...pretty damn good. Team Grillo.
So, no surprise from me, especially given their budgets.
-
I plan on seeing both. If F4 is to me as bad as they say it might help to see something that's decent. This movie already has the cast, reviews, and story intriguing me.Color me surprise, Im now thinking of going to see this instead of Fant4stic this weekend

Watched Creep. Was alright. Nothing special. A bit too predictable. Peachfuzz was creepy tho.
I thought Creep was decent for what it was. Don't see how they plan on making a trilogy out of it. One movie with the concept is enough unless they used a different "Creep" instead of Josef.

I remember how uneasy I was when I seen it at the movies. The combination of the music, the tripods, and the incinerations creeped a 10 year old me out. Looking back now I still enjoy it but even seeing it back then I found Dakota Fanning (who was the same age as me) annoying.Count me in on the WOTW appreciation train. The first time the tripods appear is probably one of the most chilling scenes in any blockbuster.

A five day under Entourage's would be pretty disappointing.
-
There had to be some positive review they could've used. That's just sad. -
Well, really they blew it with ever coming up with the idea to reboot or remake this.. National Lampoon's Vacation is just one of those movies that is really hard to improve upon and upping the Profanity in the movie is not a way to do it.. They should've just had Chase and DeAngelo along with Anthony Michael Hall do a Vacation movie and Ed Helms could've done a came at best.. Ed Helms works better in small doses as evident on The OFFICE when Michael Scott was on the show.. When Michael left, the Producers tried to make Andy t much like Michael and it belly flopped..
As much as I would had liked to see him I doubt Anthony Michael Hall was even considered since he's not much of a star anymore. Besides I'm sure the studio chose Helms so they could have somewhat of a bankable name. I thought it would've been nice if they at least gave Hall a cameo. One thing I hated from the movie was
Helms looking back at family photos and it goes through every movie. It's hard enough to believe that Hall's Rusty grew up to be Helms but to show every other Rusty as if they could pass as a younger version of Helms was a little far fetched.
Weekend Actuals: M:I-RN - $28.5m | F4 - $25.7m
