Btw does anyone know in which country people go to the cinema the most ? Whether it's in terms of general admissions but especially in terms of admissions per inhabitant/population ?
I think is South Korea, i remember some article about this, but only mentioned biggest countries in the world in terms of box office.
Maybe another small country has better ratio, but between USA, Japan, SK, China, India, Western Europe and Australia i think is SOuth Korea. -

I feel like we have now reached a point in the run where Europe is contributing close to 60%+ of Avatar2's current International gross. France + Germany + UK + Spain alone contributed to around $12.25M+ of Avatar2's $28M international gross this weekend.
Definitely, Europe is JC most beloved territory, his numbers with Titanic, A1 and A2 are giant, i think in number of inhabitants/gross ratio should be top 1 in the world.- 1

Avatar The Way of Water
OW: 7.526.000€
Weekdays: 4.236.158€
2º Weekend: 3.624.648€ // 15.386.806€
Weekdays: 8.363.159€
3º Weekend: 3.010.535€ // 26.760.500€
Weekdays: 4.292.017€
4º Weekend: 4.832.483€ // 35.885.000€
Weekdays: 1.227.000€
5º Weekend: 2.870.000€ // 39.982.000€
Weekdays: 1.046.056€
6º Weekend: 2.028.959€ // 43.057.015€
Weekdays: 719.034€
7º Weekend: 1.572.825€ // 45.348.874 = 6.270.148 admits (7,23 ATP)
Very possible for the end of next week in top 10 all time admissions, it needs 50,6 M to arrive to 7 M admits, with soft drops in next 2 or 3 weeks can land in such giant success.

Titanic’s $26M 25 years ago still blows my mind.
I don´t know how old are you, but is nice to see memebers in this forum talking about Titanic run in these times where everything over 5 years old is considered from ancient ages.- 1

Yes,so a cheaper ticket give more poorer people have chance to watch the movie,a free ticket let infinity people to watch the film ,that’s why expensive ticket still attract people is more impressive because people loved the movie more, and willing to pay more, just image a movie with a bullshit quality need you pay €15,are you willing to do that?
Not in my case, but i understand many things like this in this crazy society. -

I do not like it too much, but data are data. It would absurd if I deny this brutal success. Just 3 films in this century had reached the 7 million admissions mark: FOTR, Avatar and 8 apellidos vascos. Just very special films. And this is the first sequel doing it (the other 3 are Titanic, E.T. and Doctor Zhivago).
Data are data, it sounds like mafia language, hahaha, it´s true, we´re data addicted!!!

IMO, it is reaching 7 million admissions. Just 6 films have done it until now.
This would be really epic, sorry that you´re not happy with this!

19 th all time in admissions and going up, i think top 10 all time is locked, this is really a great success for A2 in Spain and also for moviegoing in these times.

Don’t worry my friend,Even with NWH left we can do it
I think OS numbers can push it, but maybe higher drops come soon...but of course, i hope not.. -
Very good drops for both, let´s see if Avatar has the same luck...

$230M + $15M extended period in China, so let's say $250M
OS - China = $1,4B-$1,5B
DOM = $690M-$720M
= $2,34B - $2,47B final run
I think we still have to wait to see clearly those numbers. This weekend OS was less than 60 and is only 2.026 B, still far away from 2.3 B.
IIMO, the goal right now is over Titanic, but even not locked, let´s see how it works legs next weeks. -

Well if you really like this type of woman you can going to the Disney company and I believe they must have many female Box office analyst, try to found your dream girl my friend~
Sorry if i have bothered you, but it wasn´t my goal at all.
I was just surprised and glad to have women also here, because i didn´t imagine it.
I shared with you and with the others this anecdotal thing that happen with women that i met, but of course is not my main goal for having a partner that she is crazy with BO data, of course there are other things much more important for me, but i only wanted to share it as a nice thing. -

Will please undertsand but I feel awkward everytime when you call me brother bruce…Something must be confused here and I need to clarify,I’m not even a male, the name ‘Bruce’ is just the name when I search ‘The most common English name’and choose one of it randomly,User ‘Issac Newton’ in this forum is girl as well
Great, a woman!!
I thought there only are men doing these nerd things, i always dreamt with meeting a woman and telling this hobby we had and not looking like an alien, because for all the women i met in the past, they looked at me like this when i told then that i follow b.o. data and i talk in a forum wtih people around the globe about this thing.
Imagine if i say to her "now i´m following the run of Avatar 2 " and she replies "oh really! i´m so excited with passing Titanic WW!" this would be a really epic moment in my life hahaha!!- 2

no movie can have a run similar to titanic unless its 20+ x multiplier makes it the highest grosser domestically by a couple hundred million, greatest showman final number ended up not even beating the opening weekend of multiple films and PIB2 will end up the same
Titanic made 30 M adjusted in its 15th weekend!!!!!!!!

I do not want it happens, but all signs head to it. With a 7.2 average ticket price, it "just" needs €52m total to beat Doctor Zhivago admissions. The key weekend was this one and it has had a superb hold. I do not see any reason to think it will collapse. It just needs a quite average run from now to reach that amount.
Why don´t you want it happen?
