Next year should be a more relaxed year with the Disney releases. I think the next few years Disney will have less and less big IP's to reboot and Marvel movies with potential 300m to 400m should be further apart and the other studios will have room to be breath in the scheduling headache. This year had a lot of potentially great release dates that they were too dumb to notice.

I think it has already been discussed on how other studios dropped the ball on this schedule and the next few weeks, being scared of TLK's potential. They dropped all their eggs in early summer and spring and got slaughtered by the disney heavyweights.

You are acting like I said no one should change their names or that no has ever changed their names. Why am I getting so many suggestions of people that have changed their names? I am only saying that why should she if it doesn't hurt her, and if there has been anyone that have had their chances diminished because of their other names. The changes could have been precautionary measures for something that could happen, not necessary happen.

I don't really know about her name history and her as you do, so I trust in what you are saying. And I know a lot of people have changed names before for some reason, but are we sure it was because those names somehow affected their career pursuit or was it just a reaction of safe than sorry? I agree about it being a silly stage name, I just don't know why we think it can hurt her in the future, if there is no precedent for it happening.

But so what, how is that poetic justice? There are plenty of other movies that Aladdin has made much more than.

Her name doesn't sound as difficult as this Mahershalalhashbaz. I don't know though why movies stars choose stage names, I thought that was something only adult movie stars did. I get when they shorten names like that, but some change names that were fine to begin with, because it doesn't sound exotic enough.

How would we ever know if their stage names would have affected their movie careers? Can you really pinpoint someone, who had a terrible time getting cast in movies because of their stage name. No matter how awful someone's stage name might sound to someone, it doesn't decide what you can star in and what you can't. It's a silly stage name, but she seems to like it and haven't hurt her a bit as it seems and haven't anyone else I know of. And by the way, why would it matter if her name sounds or looks dumb, if she is well know by it? Her fans and other people would still flock to it, if the movie is sold perfectly in marketing. Anyways she is not like Kevin or Dwayne that sell movies by their name, I don't think she ever will be.
