  1. Maybe they CGI'd just the eyes for the close-up? I didn't notice the eyes of the older Renesmes... I'll have to pay more attention next time.
  2. That was a real baby. I recently saw an interview with Kristen Stewart. She said they scrapped the CGI baby (it was actually some weird animatronic puppet) because it looked so bad. They used a real baby instead and covered it in cream cheese and rasberry jelly. lol.
  3. I just don't get the critics either. Yes, there is some crazy stuff but Condon cut waaaay back on the "cheese" factor and made it as realistic and emotional as he could. After reading the book, I thought there was no way they could make a movie out of it, so I was pleasantly surprised.I even think non-fans would like it. If nothing else than for the last 15 min. which is probably the best segment in all the films.
  4. I didn't care for the book, but I just saw it and loved it. (Second fav behind Twilight) It's definitely a return to what the fans loved about Twilight: More Edward and Bella and it just felt more emotional and character driven.Bill Condon should be given a lot of credit for taking some really difficult and strange book material and making it work on screen.I definitely want to see it again, and that's something I didn't feel walking out of New Moon or Eclipse.
  5. No I didn't. I know what the midnight for DH2 was without 3D/IMAX. My point was it's pointless to compare the two because the same scenario is never going to happen. Just like it's impossible to compare the Friday opening of DH2 to the Friday opening of BD1.
  6. Exactly my point. :)So trying to compare BD1 or 2 to DH2 is pointless, IMO.BD2 is not going to be a summer release nor is it going to be in 3-D, (which should make Potter fans very relieved)
  7. Noctis, could you write a little bigger next time? lol. And if we are talking impact on sales, how much does opening on a summer Friday impact the sales in comparison to a fall Friday when teens are still in school?
