It's better that Hunger Games (80 138 admissions), but worse than Twilight 1 (140 960 admissions) This is the holidays in France.

It is difficult to explain this success. The actor and director Dany Boon is a French comedian, well known. The success was a surprise, but also logical. The third Asterix has greatly disappointed one month before.Bienvenue chez les ch'tis was the hit comedy replacement. The theme targeting a french region with its dialect particular was very appreciated. The duo of actors Boon / Merad worked. The promotion of the film was very good. The French comedies are very apreciate in France. This success is a mystery, however. A fun movie that everyone wanted to see. That's it!Sometimes there is no explanation. But it is a success that could not be exported because the film touches France and its culture. With difficulty understandable abroad.
