Yes, because dogs are innocent, like children. And they rely on us for love and care and protection. So naturally it's more upsetting to see a dog die than it is a human.
Exactly, which is why I always cry at the end of Cujo when the poor dog dies and not Dee Wallace Stone and her dumb kid.

Avatar was already at 2.7 billion before the re-release. It didn't make much more after that. 1 billion isn't happening. Re-releases don't make much unless it's a movie that's really old.
It would be interesting to see what TFA could do if it was re-released a month or 6 weeks before Episode VII, it might be able to do quite a bit better than a normal re-release because of the anticipation for the next installment.

Ok thats your opinion on which would lose a 1v1.
The point is however that Avatar 2 didn't move because of Star Wars.I think Episode VIII moved because the Avatar 2 delay left that slot open. I don't think either studio is dumb enough to release both movies in direct competition, money trumps dick measuring contests.

How do you know how much the Production Budget is on VIII?? You working on the movie or what??
I don't see it ballooning much past the cost of TFA which was $200 million.

I googled it and this is all I could find.http://collider.com/collider-movie-talk-avatar-2-delayed/
I watched the first 5 mins of the vid and they're completely useless as a source.
"I'm not buying Avatar moved for actually reasons, it's just avoiding Star Wars"
and
"It probably will be released 2-3 months before in september"The hell?
I do think Fox is more afraid of Star Wars than Disney is of Avatar. If both came out at about the same time both would suffer, Star Wars would win the domestic battle and Avatar would win WW total, but Episode VIII will have a lower production budget about $200 vs twice that or more for Avatar 2 and Disney has a lot more avenues than just the film to make money than Fox does with Avatar 2.

We must confront the possibility that Benedict Cumberbatch will be the new Goblin King in that
#Labyrinth sequel...Does he speak about the 1986 movie?
It should be Prince, on principal.

Another point to make doesn't the academy consists of over 6,000 voters and aren't they kind of supposed keep their voting to themselves? how could the academy silently make a racist decision to not nominate minority race actors? and even if there are some racists in the voting, it would most likely be a very small percentage, if it were large than I feel minority race actors would never be nominated. and hopefully the racist culprits would be found and kicked out.
It's not about the Academy actively colluding to ignore minorities, it's that the make up of the Academy and film industry as whole lead to minorities being ignored both in acclamation and availability of roles/jobs.
Argue against the actual criticism, not what you want the criticism to be.

It's a joke man, nothing more. 75% of the time I'm just going for the joke. The other 25% of the time I'm being serious , but I am such ridiculous person with ridiculous ideas that it seems like a joke. It's up to you the audience to figure out which is which.

Oscar screwed up with those 2 empty BP slots if Compton and or Creed were up for BP then the dearth of non-white nominees in the acting categories wouldn't be a big deal.

I have no respect for parents who don't love their children enough to endanger their lives to take them to see TFA during an ice storm. Priorities people!

If you want to 'ping' him (as the quote thingy looks a bit broken)
typ and wait for a moment and then the user's name in one row, without an empty space in between, you should see the name appear in a little ~ extra window. With my browser you have to click on the name in the extra window, then the ping works
If done all right/correctly, the user name gets a coloured mark like this:
Biph Shmata tried to answer to you, see a few post earlier, only trying helping a bit here....
Thanks, but I had enough trouble "fixing" it the first time, it's a only a semi serious off hand comment, nothing to get worked up over. I will remember your advice the next time I screw up though.

Did you maybe try to answer to Baumer who asked why only one theater in his Canadian area / Toronto even shows the movie?

Unlikely unless Disney releases an extended addition or re-releases it ahead of Episode VIII

Baumer said - "And wtf is going on with the release of Bengazi. It's playing in one ONE damn theater in Toronto. It's only in limited release right now in Canada. "
It seems like they focused the movie on places where Faux News is the #1 cable network and since Canadian law says news organizations can't knowingly lie there is no Faux News in Canada.

I think Spy fell under a lot of people's expectations. While 110 was decent. Many including myself were expecting Identity Thief and The Heat numbers. Especially considering how good the reviews were.
Spy did better than both of those movies WW, I don't think Melissa McCarthy's brand was hurt at all, if anything Spy expanded her draw.

Norm is down "0" on RT. that was a fast retraction
come on down to 5m
I was talking about Titanic and yes it was in many ways what the original SW was for boys, that movie they went to see 5,10 and even 20 times in the theater.
It had a lot of repeat viewers, mainly young girls, and they were the major reason for it's ungodly run.

Did it show him as a fairly accomplished skier (barely missed making the 84 Olympics for UK in the downhill) or just some lovable schlep who decided to take up ski jumping?
