Is Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City getting a China release?
-
50% on RT.
Higher Tomatometer than Eternals! XD

It seems it's getting good reviews and raves from those who got to see it during fan screenings.

Only 2600 locations next week.
That's very low. I smell a dump.
That being said, I can't wait for it.

It's a fine trailer. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm really toning down any possible hype for this movie.

This is getting out of hand, I think.
Can you imagine if Tobey and Andrew really aren't in the movie and we get 3 Spider Men played by Tom Holland? The backlash would be unreal. It would be toxic for the movie's performance.

F Cinemascore
That would be the first comic book movie with an F CinemaScore.
Other than The Avengers ( got a D ), most got anything above C ( except for Fant4stic, which got C- )

So...
Venom 2 is fresh while Eternals is rotten.
Catwoman, Green Lantern, BVS, Elektra and Eternals all share the same B CinemaScore
Are we living in the Multiverse of Madness already? I'll believe if Morbius ends up being fresh on RT.

This movie has the same composer from The Witch and Lighthouse, and the DP is from Shazam. Interesting crew.

Resident Evil 4 or whatever goes on sale Nov. 15th.
Welcome to Raccoon City?
I'm very excited for this movie. I won't lie. It looks miles better than the ones with Jovovich.

Came back from early screening. Sad to tell you this but this is really like WTF moment in MCU.
Before the showing, I expect this can turn out to be like a Aladdin 2.0 as I remember Aladdin suffer the similar fresh/rotten zone too on RT and I ended up liking Aladdin much more than critics. But no such luck for Eternals, at least that is me personally.
By the way, Madden is so handsome and also thanks to Chan's beauty, they themselves are already a great "practical visual effect"
Any guess on CinemaScore?

This movie is gonna be the new RT consensus.
Barely rotten // Barely fresh- It'll keep changing to rotten/fresh after every couple of reviews. XD
-
Oh boy, this trailer is gonna be review bombed and disliked because it isn't the new Spider Man trailer...
I can see the posts about "Is Sony trolling us by releasing a trailer for a January movie before a December movie?"...
It's gonna be a fun day, anyway. I'm really curious to watch Morbius.

That's ridiculous. I really noticed the dislikes when I saw the Resident Evil footage. It looks much better than the first trailer.

After reading these reviews all over the internet, I got the idea this movie is trying to be something it shouldn't be.
Is it a Marvel movie pretending to not be a Marvel movie? Is it a artsy movie pretending to be Marvel? Is it a movie that refuses to be Marvel but keeps most of Marvel's elements?
I can see the identity crisis with this one. I'm not interested to watch it. I wasn't interested before, I'm not now. I hope you guys enjoy it.

A shorter version of the trailer played before Halloween Kills.
How were the reactions?

Whoa! I didn't know The Counselor got a D.
I'm also surprised to see Hannibal getting a C+...I remember when I got to the Ray Liotta "eating his own brain" scene and half of the audience leaving the theater, lol.

I wonder what the cinemascore will be? Do general audiences know this is actually about rape? The titular duel isn’t until 3rd act and first two are dialogue heavy and flashback driven. The 150 min runtime will also be hinderance
Wow...Really? I didn't know this movie was that long. Damn...
Sir Ridley usually doesn't get bad CinemaScores. I only remember a movie where Brad Pitt got killed by a machine in the last 15 minutes. I swear that stuff could belong to a Saw movie. It was damn scary.

Movie is fresh now. 61% on RT! God Serkis nailed it!

Saw this with a sold out crowd tonight. It’s funny and very, very stylishly directed. It also had a great twist.
It’s not as “horror” or action packed as the trailer suggests though, and I can see American audiences getting easily confused.
Any guess on the CinemaScore?

It might have had bad screenings but it’s certainly found it’s audience haha. That film is crazy.
I agree.
