Nah the problem ain't the format. It's writing gets to TLT levels at times.

Some of the most acclaimed shows  are sitcoms and yes they can still be consistent and competent

This whole "it's a sitcom lol don't take it seriously" is becoming a strawman.

This episode was the best for me because we got Jane/she hulk first major character development. Which has been thin the previous episodes. Law stuff though still silly at points was better in this episode. Episode 3 court sessions got a little to silly and way to dumb .

I don't think he was talking about you, I've seen people complaining that there is not plot as if a case of the week format is a wild term these days.

But yes the show is "dumb" don't expect Better Call Saul court scenes, the cases are always dumb for a reason, if you don't like it it's fine but yes, the show is not trying to be something else, it was literaly marketed as comedy.

Criticisms is totally fine, but the outrages for things like the twerking scenes has been just nothing but hilarious and show how personal people are getting for this innofensive show.

Marvel Studios Disney+ Series Premiere Viewership
    Loki: 2.5 million
    Moon Knight: 1.8 million
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: 1.8 million
    WandaVision: 1.6 million
    Hawkeye: 1.5 million
    MsMarvel: 775K
    SheHulk: 1.5M

I actually thought it was going to do worse but it's actually doing the MCU average numbers with shorter runtime and 1 day less than the last 4 series.

  3. I think the funniest complain so far is that "She-hulk did everything better than Hulk yadayada", but when you actually see the episode, Banner was holding back the entire time, he is clearly stronger and the only reason that Jenifer controled her hulk form way faster it's as simple as she does not have an entirely different personality messing her around which it's something that has nothing to do with being a woman but because Hulk was created by Banner's trauma in the past.

So weird cause this ended up feeling extremely standalone and less of a team-up than even Ragnarok which at least had Hulk. Maybe the guardians were meant to have larger roles, like a proper Asguardians of the Galaxy movie but that seems so far from what we got in the film where they just left after 5 minutes and were never heard of again.

They set-up the Asgardians of the galaxy for nothing if you have seen Gunn he could not care less about the concept and talks how this movie pretty much had zero effect in his movie even when it was supposed to release before Thor.

There's some genuinely bad superhero movies out (especially now!).. I don't see why Batgirl would be some catastrophe. The real mistake was WB's mishandling of the DC brand and the overeagerness in bringing back Keaton.

But seriously, you think Batgirl would be worse than Thor: Love and Thunder, Superpets, Morbius, Eternals, Hellboy, Green Lantern, Justice League, New Mutants, Fantastic 4 2015?

Between this and the canceled Joss Whedon version, I'm afraid the character is just doomed. And the same goes for Supergirl, exactly

I don't agree that it should been cancelled but It could be easily worse than some of your examples.

So some guy on Reddit mentioned the DC’s 10 year plan a full day ago and got downvoted

Reminds me of the time I saw a guy on r/movies leak scenes from the Snyder cut years ago and got downvoted because no one believed him.

I would downvote it as well if I read "Black Adam as Thanos".

Sure, there was a huge element of risk by going out with their own studio, but they still banked on the most recognizable and "cool" characters (Iron Man being a wisecracking Batman - the Bruce Wayne public persona but not just a face) they had available to them.

They still didn't move to the C list until they had the foundations properly set.

DC didn't have the disadvantage of not being able to access their A listers, but due to mismanagement it ended up not mattering.

Ehh Iron-man, Cap and Thor were always the core "big 3" of the avengers in the comics, they were going to happen not matter what if the avengers was an idea at any point.

2022 isn't 2017. The metric of YT likes changed drastically with Infinity War and Endgame. The first L&T teaser was at 1.4M after 24 hours. DSMOM teaser at 1.7M, NWH at 2.4M, etc etc.

Black Panther was underperforming on youtube even compared to the Marvel movies that happened during those years except Antman.

Ragnarok and Cap Marvel literaly destroyed it on views and likes.

My worry with this trailer is it doesn't really do a good job selling the movie if you don't know the premise already. Like knowing that the movie is about Atlantis vs Wakanda already, it looks really cool, a lot of neat looking shots. But for someone seeing the trailer cold, it's kinda just a succession of nice-looking shots.

They can fix that with trailer 2 I guess, but I think the first trailer should have been a lot more clear about things.

That said my hype levels for this were already high, have leapt even higher. The trailer definitely worked emotionally for me.

It's a teaser, there is almost no lines.

Phase 4 only has one movie that was loved Worldwide and that is not from Disney.

Shang-Chi ,the other movie that people loved was limited to mostly USA.

People said I was hyper in making predictions about MCU losing it's trajectory but I was right.

Thor 4 should be making waves but it's just another mid MCU movies that majority just don't like

    What does this even mean...

Both Thor and Strange are doing the same as any Phase 3 movie without China except Black Panther and Avengers movies, literaly.

Oh it'll get there. It used to just be MCU haters that were whiny and annoying, now I'm noticing fans acting the same way about the movies. It happens any time nerds invest way too much of their lives into a thing, then start to not like said thing and don't know how to handle their disappointment.

For the record I'm talking about the real hardcore fans. I'd have no idea that phase 4 has been sub-par or "not leading up to anything" or whatever if I wasn't online. Most people aren't bothered.

You are not wrong, the spoiler sub on reddit is the biggest mess ever, if you like something is bad if you dislike something is bad, if something is connected is bad, if something is not connected si bad, they don't know how to react anymore.

  12. I think the Wakanada vs Atlantis can make the scale of the movie look very attractive but I agree that the Aztec and Maya aspect won't be relevant for hispanics on the US.

Regarding Latin America that is more a Mexico and central America thing, not much for the rest of latin america.

Funny how GOT actors didn't pan out in SH movies except for Momoa:

    Turner (Dark Phoenix) = flop

    Williams (New Mutants) = flop

    Harrington&Madden (Eternals) = flop

Did I forget someone? Clarke is in D+ Secret Invasion which people might watch cause of SLJ/Fury.

Harrington must be seeing the writing on the wall cause he's developing a Jon Snow spin-off. While Marvel tentatively has Eternals 2 on their schedule, I don't see why they would go forward with it. No one is clamoring.

Harrington is linked to Blade, not Eternals 2 as weird as it sounds, so he is fine.

Edit : oops I see everyone already said it.

These shows need to go. They can do some, but come on, Armor Wars? Hawkeye? What If?

Not only it's useless but also can get people exhausted of so many projects at once.

If Thor ended up with just 130M or so OW i think it's time to Feige rethink these shows, because there's no reason for this to sell less tickets than Ragnarok.

With that said, i think some people is freaking out over nothing for Thor, presales are very good, they never was supposed to compete with DS2 which is the only way the numbers can look a bit disappointing. The key for this movie will be the final week like for all movies that isn't hype juggernauts like NWH / DS2.

Those shows are innofensive, well I don't know Armor Wars because aka it does not exist.

What consequence can something like what if cause? it's basically just an animated show of things that will never happen,.. Let alone that the vast majority of the fans skipped because animated series are not popular in general.

The people that watch the tv shows are the ones that will watch any MCU movie, the shows are not doing anything to the movies themselves, people cannot tell me that 50% of the people that watched Dr Strange even watched Wandavision.

  15. Re-watching but damn Black Bolts death is dumber and dumber everytime I see it, not only Reed was dumb telling her but Black Bolts powers would never make his head explode because they don't work like that, he has electron manipulation not super scream and the fork on his forehead is where he control his powers, let alone the person who spent decades without opening his mouth unless it's the last choice got desperate and tried to talk at the first second.

Other than that I still enjoy the movie a lot
