Iron-man is out of the suit for most of the movie ofc it will look better.
Compared to CGI worlds fest and powers of Thor and Dr Strange is kinda hilarious..

Thor Ragnarok was very divisive with the audience. So many people loved it and so many people hated it
Thor Ragnarok is not divise, only the "I want Thor to be serious" gang which it's an insane minority box office wise cares.

Ehh this is a clear above 80% on RT, even the people that has mixed reactions like the movie in some ways, I have not seen anyone straight hating it.
Weird I read Kristian Harloffsaying that "it has too much humor and you will be fine if you expect a comedy" as if the trailers were not 70% humour, I guess many people are expecting page by page the arc of the comics.

Phase 3 was an incredible creative streak for Marvel though, like they really seemed like they couldn't miss. What I'm worried about for Phase 4 is it feels rather aimless and hit/miss now. Eternals was their only big miss, but even something like Dr. Strange 2, had it been made in Phase 3, would've probably been like a Winter Soldier situation that one upped the first.
Meanwhile there is phase 2 when it was either a hit or a miss, people act as if phase 3 was always the rule.
We got hit back to back to "dissapointing" Iron man 3 and Dark World, then recovered with Winter Soldier and Guardians and then another "dissapointing" Avengers movies, to end with a just good movie with Ant-man.
And MCU was totally fine, I feel everyone brings extra worry every single project now.

The only thing I'm not liking from the footage is that the fight in the "grey world" looks super slow.

It's funny to think that comparing Moon Knight episode 3 action with this episode, this has the more solid action, you would think it should be the opposite.
That blue arm is clearly a Kree, they are most likely going to attach Kamala to the Krees even if she ends not being an inhuman... It would explain how she ends teaming-up randomly with Carol as well.

Total views matter more than this, this is the best mcu show imo & it deserved at least 1.5M views if not 1.8M like Moon Knight. This is also bad news for the The Marvels as this indicate low interest in Captain Marvel too.
I love that people act to this day as if Cap Marvel is not popular enough.
Monica is on The Marvels, does that means Wandavision popularity will bring the box office? hilarious.

II actually really liked this episodes, I even liked Reva here, if she was a better character in the other 4 episodes, that Vader duel would have hit harder... Much much better than the first 4 episodes.
Now for nitpicks Leia lasting ages in finding a thing in such tiny place for the tension, it does not help that they did not show her even trying and the second is that ofc Reva is left alive and finds something groundbreaking because of course.

Every Marvel thread sounds like Grace Randolph lately "200OW and 1B WW is the only way I will call it success"

What? Shang Chi would have done way better on normal times... Maybe not domestic but way better internationaly.
And if anything BW hype died because all the COVID delays, without COVID BW was going to have a great date, China release and not double streaming release... BW hype from the first trailer was huge.

200M was always a weird goal for some people, over 150M should have always been the goal... Marvel seems to to be focusing on Thor and Jane alone, Gorr was absent from the teaser, the Guardians are BARELY marketed, so people cannot make assumptions that they will have any other than a small role, Gorr is not someone known, it's barely different from Hela but unlike Hela who had some amazing shots in the trailer, it seems they are saving Gorr scenes.
Who knows on the other side maybe we get positive reactions push with this one, something Dr Strange did not have.

Who
Marvel Suicide Squad but without the characters being full villains, more a bunch of antiheroes.
32 minutes ago, Lion Roar said:This has been rumored for a long time and they've already set up a few of the pieces. Still, I feel like this should be a D+ series and not a theatrical release.
Thunderbolts are a team of villains/anti-heroes led by Baron Zemo. Not sure what the lineup will be but probably include Contessa Valentina, John Walker, Abomination, maybe Yelena and Sharon Carter.
It says movie, it could be for D+ tho.

They really don’t, there’s no correlation for trailer views and box office for dc movies. They do fine numbers but when you compare them to the average marvel movie like say Shang Chi they barely compare to even that. Batman has the same trailer views as Shang chi and the Batman was huge on social media.
Other than niche like Birds of Prey or Shazam, DC movies do great on views, BvS, Man of Steel, Joker, Aquaman, The Batman all did great, even Wonder Woman 84 did good enough.
You picked the worst example only one Shang Chi trailer did decent numbers, Batman had way more views, the highest Shang Chi trailer views are lower than the lowest watched Batman trailer... Eternals is below Batman as well.
Besides it's not the point, the point is that Black Adam is doing bad in general, not even compared to Marvel.

DC movies pretty much never see the kind of social media buzz that Marvel movies get. No one should have ever expected that from this movie.
I don't know where did you get that, views wise DC movies always do great.
-
Dr Fate is most likely the standout of the movie but I'm still bothered by the helmet design... Like why they took out the eyes? lol
They will need to bring a lot for the second trailer because the views are Morbius tier.
-
The trailer literaly looks like your generic Rock movie... Rock may look like Black Adam but he is still the same character he always plays.

That depends on the film, frankly. some movies are "Critic Proof" others are not.
Same thing with WOM.
I meant that "getting yellow" on MC won't matter if the movie made more than enough money so it literally cannot be a flop.

I know its a joke or whatever but I do think getting yellow on MC is kind of a flop for Marvel these days.
Critical response has nothing to do with flop or no flop.

Personally, I'm wondering what inspires a woman to keep and repair her ex-boyfriend's hammer, dress up as him, and follow his career path. If an ex did that to me it'd be pretty creepy ngl. 🤔
I mean I doubt she repaired it when she is using it shattered and the hammer gives you the outfit by default, except for Cap I guess.

Thank god DS2 released in SK at a time with no restrictions.....it's the only significant market carrying the OS.
Thanks God for what? for not having COVID messing with its performance?
It would have reached 900M even with a worse performance on SK and you need to stop acting as if it's a bad number let alone without China and Russia.
Months and you are still trying hard.

They were extra "shady" with Dr Strange for some reason, it's like they never wanted to give it the certified fresh after a huge amount of reviews and then they were really paying attention to any moment it dropped from 75 to take it.
I like the bad batch as well but some people think it's "repetitive and has too much filler", I guess people are not used to long series anymore.
