I've been really interested in how this film plays out. I love the way its shot. Ryan Gosling can't act, but hopefully Crowe will make up for it.

Kanye still is the bigger star than Taylor Swift. She shares the same fanbase as Justin Beiber, so a bunch of little girls buy her albums and listen to them on youtube. That's nice. More power to her. It's hilarious to see some of you people pretend Swift is up on Kanye's level. Kanye made that female famous back in 2009 when she was still strumming a guitar and recording in Nashville. After Yeezy helped her, she put the guitar down and moved to New York. When they want to sell your favorite video game trailer they play Yeezy. When they want to sell a movie aimed at the mature female demographic, they play Yeezy. When Yeezy performs Taylor Swift has to change her panties No one is taking anything away from T-Swizzle. But to sit around and pretend shes on the level of Yeezy is hilarious and only something bumhurt nerdboys would do for some strange and anti-social reason. lol. He just sold this hilariously niche video-game movie to the wider audience. You should all be thankful, maybe even Taylor Swift might see it now. lol

Sure you do. No she wasn't. She was a top selling artist and a country singer. After 2009 she became exponentially more famous after the Kanye incident. A lot of people have 'catchy' songs. Taylor's music is forgettable. Before and after her country career. More power to her, she's a talented songwriter.

No one even remembers the song she was supposed to be winning for. Waiting to hear it. People just started recognizing Taylor Swift's music. Kanye has been pumping out hits behind the scenes and under his own albums for years now. Hell, I still don't know the ambient sound of a single Taylor Swift song yet. Kanye is a better artist than Taylor Swift, and it's not even close. She is a great song writer though, but Kanye wrote most of his raps. This.

I see a bunch of people re-editing the video with awful music choices. That reddit thread is full of stupid music from 'Lorde' to generic and stale 'pump up' tracks. Assassin's Creed isn't some famous property outside of the gaming world that plays it. The film has to aim for some mass appeal. I'm not very fond of Kanye's music but song fit the mood of the trailer perfectly. It only one bar of lyrics in it and besides that, the track basically worked as an effective alternative to that 'Vaaaah' trailer horn that we always get. Whoever made the music choice was a genius.

He made , in that moment of infamy, Taylor Swift more famous exponentially than she already was -most people didn't even know who she was at that point- and he did it while being absolutely right. Not at all, I loved the song choice. Unbearable nerds might take issue with it, but the general public LOVES Kanye's music. And this song is fitting.

It the job of the trailer to get people interested in the film. Apparently this is a game? I've never played it. Off this trailer alone, it's got my ticket. It looks wonderfully shot, Fassbender rarely, if ever lets me down and the Kanye song elevated the trailer exponentially. I'm all in.
