  1. I’m posting my Yin review first then I’ll get to the shorts and Love Song 2.0
  2. That feeling when one of the Fantasia shorts are the same as one of your own shorts
  3. I2 also had no big family films for the first half of 2018. There was literally a family film drought. TS4 opens in the aftermath of being the fourth family film in 8 weeks with Pikachu, Aladdin, and Pets 2 apart by 2 weeks each. All of the four are gunning for $300M DOM.
  4. The first three are obvious but can anyone guess the fourth?
  5. I’m so fucking happy right now. Go Peele! As for tentpoles like Nolan or Spielberg, I’d rather he do his own ideas than a CBM or remake.
  6. @cayommagazine Endless Entertainment, Endless Animation and Infinite Studios release their tentative Y6 plans, starting with Q1 Q1
  7. Rest of March: Out of my Mind: C+ A solid family drama though unlike Wonder, it doesn’t create the same feel good vibe at Wonder, in facts although it offers a bit more realism, there’s some things that just rubbed me wrong. Crusader: B+ A pretty good Liam Nesson period piece. Nothing else much to say.
  8. @cayommagazine A top industry insider and leaker Yen Sid: Critic Payer has a few more details on CYI2? - A few titles are being suggest such as Should You Imagine? or Would You Imagine? or Could You Imagine? - It may be a musical as well as songwriters from Endless Animation’s Medusa; Tim Rice and Alan Menken have joined on in undisclosed roles - It will take place during Ethan entering 7th grade and focuses on how he feel he should mature - Sasha, the little girl from the first, will have a much larger role in the sequel - Both Jennifer and Kyle have their own personal trials to face as well - and... Ethan may be getting a foster sister as Endless is considering Storm Reid and Marsai Martin for the role. - Multiple Animation styles will be used for different imaginations.
  9. @cayommagazine Endless Animation is in active development for sequels being Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive 2 and an untitled Can You Imagine sequel. Both of the original teams and cast will return for the latter as details suggest you may not visit just Ethan’s imagination but multiple imagination and will focus on an older Ethan and the dynamic of his parents. Both of which are vying for a spot in Y7 with an untitled original and The Grim Movie Of Billy and Mandy.
  10. March: Out of My Mind: $16.8M/$63.4M The Last Six: $80.1M/$200M Epsilon: $58.3M/$187.2M Artifacts: $40.5M/$121.7M (I fully expect this to receive mixed reviews at best) Crusader: $28.6M/$82.9M
  11. Oopsies I forgot. Olive: $85M (five day)/$250M
  12. I want to do month by month but I’ll predict the big things I’ve read before: The Last Six: $80M/$200M Epsilon: $55M/$180M 2LBH: $135M/$475M OPM: $165M (5 day)/$350M Scooby-Doo: $95M/$265M He-Man III: $65M/$170M Bambi: $60M/$140M AD3: $100M/$250M TSWII: $165M (5 day)/$465M
  13. To be honest, I can see a small chance Splatoon becomes an Ice Age or DM OS.
  14. I’d be so happy if that happens. Personally, I’m expecting anywhere from TSCB ($140M) to HT3SV ($170M)
  15. I’d be so happy if GLC did that but 2LBH is leaping over $400M DOM. It’s pulling a Shrek 2.
  16. I curious about predictions for both GLC and 2LBH.
  17. With The Last Six in close proximity, I don’t know about a good enough OW to get it there but the good WOM may help it leg wise, so maybe idk a $60M/$200M run if everything works out.
  18. These 2LBH affirm my belief of being the biggest film of the year.
  19. So know we saying $60M for US, which is fucking ginormous for an original IP, and huge for Peele, a disappointment, even though these are just early guesstimates and have the potential to go up and down.
