good score for Leap! now watch it have a worse multiplier than Emoji and Nut Job 2 (even though it has an upcoming holiday weekend)
BIRTH OF THE DRAGON (2017) LEAP! (2017) This made me happy!

The director just responded to my tweet with the numbers!

After this weekend Leap looks like it will be around 63 million worldwide on a 30 million budget. It's at 58 million WW according to Mojo. Numbers has it at 48 million WW but they didn't update for a bit.
All i I know is it's not getting a sequel. Director is already in the middle of next film.

I mean you have so many social media celebs tweeting about how great Leap! Is. Weinstein should have put that money to other use.
I have a hard time time believing The Rock and Kardashians saw it. Lol.
Anyway..I loved it.
Heres my post from after I got out yesterday!
Just got out of Leap! Amazing film. It was so cute and well done. Including me 12 people in the 7:00 showing. 5 adults (Including me). 6 little girls. 1 little boy.
But yes!! I highly recommend this movie. 10/10. I wish I had 30 Million so we could see a sequel! XD! I've tweeted the director so much on twitter. Haha.
If you have little girls take them to see it! It's inspiring. Young boys will like it as well. Also, Victor and Felice are Relationship Goals! I loved Victors guy friend as well. Hillarious. 😂
So see it!

So how many million? I'm going to prepare for a disappointing opening weekend. Hope I'm wrong! I'll be seeing it at 7:00 on Thursday.

Yep! I brought up to the director about how people are worried it will be scrapped and go direct to video here in America. He told me "it's the complete opposite. This shows they have a lot of faith in it."
I know...what else is the director gonna say on social media? Lol. I hope he's right.

Next movie I'm going to in theatres is Leap! That's gonna fail at the domestic box office but hey it looks cute and really good reviews so far in the countries it's been shown in so far.
Id likely be happy with an overal domestic total of 15 million. I'm afraid it might do like a 2 million opening weekend and end up at 5-6 total at the end.
For those feeling bad about the Power Rangers opening gross. I loved The Space Between Us and that bombed so bad. The Blu-Ray comes out May 16th. Yes that's how bad it did..Blu Ray has a release date already.

Lionsgate is calling power rangers a big win for the studio
David Spitz, Lionsgate’s domestic theatrical distribution president, noted that the movie showed strong traction amid all demographics — even with “Beauty and the Beast” remaining a potent draw. “We always thought the two films could be complementary to each other,” he added.
Spitz also noted that “Power Rangers” debuted in the same late March slot as the studio’s “Hunger Games” and “Divergent,” enabling it to take advantage of the spring break for moviegoers.Power Rangers” landed in second place with a $40.5-million debut, beating analyst projections of $35 million in ticket sales.
“We’re very, very pleased,” said David Spitz, the studio’s distribution chief. “It’s always nice when you come in expectationsThats some spin...

The Power Rangers film at least probably won't show up on of a lot of worst of lists at the end of the year.
Yep. I enjoyed it.

That's the issue. It's not that it's doing bad. I just don't think a 39 million opening is good enough for a sequel unless it has killer legs.
I really enjoyed the film.
Now you know how I feel about the last Fantastic Four movie. I really enjoyed it but nobody else in the universe did. It sucked it did so bad but it happens.
