  1. Saw Power Rangers today at 1:55 pm in my Town. About 33% filled. But when it ended at 4..as we headed out..place was pretty crowded.

I enjoyed it. I had low expectations since I'm my not familiar when the franchise. I mean we had the '95 film on VHS but I have not seen it in years.

I was upset the cut a certain scene from the trailers but that is a small thing. Def worth the $7.25.

Unfortunately I don't have final numbers for Logan at my theatre tonight (have to wait a while to hear from my manager) but it's somewhere around 27M sort of disappointing after 11M Thursday, but pre sales for matinees are strong, and it's still going to go well past my (our equivalent of) 75M prediction.

Before I Fall outperformed and did 3.6M Friday, wasn't expecting that for sure. Batman did 3.1, but I was really pissed at Get Out's numbers. Only 5.5-5.8 opening Friday, it should have done way better.

But holy crap Ballerina (Leap!) was a huge shock with 5.8M Friday.

    nice!!!

Did really well at my theatre tonight. Even had this dad show up with his 3 year old daughter and he was fully dressed up in a tutu with her it was adorable.

Nice to hear. It's gonna be hard because when this comes out in America it will be the 4th wide release animation film in a 4 week period. Def will hurt it domestically here in America.

  4. Thanks. Been looking for a forum that's fairly active that discusses Box Office Numbers. Just be glad I didn't find it earlier or I would have been really saddened by Space Between Us Numbers. Haha.

After Logan the next Numbers I'm really curious about are Leap! (Ballerina) domestic. I know it's done 48 million worldwide so far on a 30 million budget. I want a sequel of that but I asked the director how much more it would have to make to get one and he replied "Please no sequel". So I doubt it matters.

  5. I saw Logan Thursday night and it was brilliant. I saw Before I Fall this afternoon and I enjoyed it. Only four people in the theatre with me this afternoon. So it's a bomb but not the bomb Space Between Is was opening night. Loved Space Between Us but it did so horrible. 7 million domestic total on 30 million budget. Before I Fall only 5 million so it will be fine.

Hope Logan does at least 80 million this weekend.
