  1. They are only good for tracking domestic box office numbers which are generally correct. Their commentary is usually quite biased and unreliable. They would have absolutely no knowledge of how much the movie was sold for, or if there was a profit sharing mechanism after a certain threshold. If I was a producer, I would not sell my movie without one, especially if the movie had potential for a good run like Dangal did.
  2. I have a question regarding number of shows. What would be the drop for Dangal and GOTG2 going forward with new movies releasing this weekend? Would Dangal be able to retain a good number of shows?
  3. My first post here. Actually that's not true. That figure is after deducting entertainment tax (it's only an Indian thing if I'm not mistaken). The total gross before tax is around $80 million (5110 million Indian rupees).
