  1. I keep trying to like Grace's stuff, but she just finds negativity where there isn't any. That shirt is awesome, btw, and when people get upset over it I just gotta say "Lighten up". I'm really loving WW's run, and I think one of the reasons is that it is a landmark film that WILL change the way the studios and audiences interact with future works. In that way, it is very similar to the way GOTG1 proved that you can take a relatively unknown and unlikely comic book character(s) and if you do it right, you can be successful with it and audiences will connect with it. That's much more exciting than the sequels, which generally just copy and paste their way to success.
  2. Just think--a team of talented artists had to spend a not insignificant amount of time planning, shooting, revising and animating that bit. I hate to imagine how much just that little bit cost.
  3. We get it: you hate WW, you've always hated WW, and there is no WW film that could have possibly been made that would have made you like a WW film.
  4. I was looking at catching an early evening showing, and it is sold out at the theater near me. I've looked a several other surrounding theaters, and there are multiple sell-outs. I think the theater close by may be leaving money on the table because it only has a couple screens showing WW now, and they were sold out when I went last night (it was packed!), and again today.
  5. Excuse my ignorance, but how does that work? Do studios decide how many screens a film get, or does the theater owner? How do they decide how many screens to allocate each film? Yesterday at the theater I was at, WW was sold out so I'm assuming the theater left money on the table by not having enough screens allocated to it?
  6. Thinking of going to see it--I've always liked Naomi Watts, and Maddie Ziegler has been amazing in everything I've seen of hers. I have to think the subject matter scares away a lot of movie goers though.
  7. Wonder Woman: A+ Man of Steel: B+ Batman vs Superman (extended): B Suicide Squad: D
  8. Greetings everybody! This is my first post here--I was very interested to see how WW box office was doing and found this site again and have been lurking for a few days. I don't know where else to post this question but this might be the best place for it: Since WW is doing so well, how much leeway do theater owners have in keeping screens for it, particularly IMAX? For example, this weekend where The Mummy is tanking, can an owner decide that they think they'd make more money if they have IMAX/large-screens for WW instead, can they do so? Right now I've seen WW four times so far, and would like to take my nephews and nieces to it (I took some yesterday), but I have yet to see it in IMAX 3D but almost all the theaters around here have taken it out of their IMAX 3D showings. Any chance it can move back to IMAX 3D or is there no way?
