Didn't like this at all. The two leads were just awful. Dane Dehaan was miscast and his horrid performance completely ruined the film and Cara Delevingne is just a shit actress. Most of the dialogue was cringey and awful and the romance between the two leads was just incredibly half-assed. The film was also way to fucking long. So many useless scenes could have been cut to streamline this mess. Overall it was pretty terrible but what do you expect from a shit director like Luc Bensson?

That racing scene wasn't in the original book. Looks like there going to make some drastic changes. I hope they keep in the Ultraman vs Mechagodzilla fight.

I don't understand why they didn't release this next weekend. The last weekend of July is empty so there was no reason to go head to head with Dunkirk.

Yeah I really hope Guy Ritchie gets replaced by someone else.

Naomi Scott was good in Power Ranger so I'm glad to see her get more roles.

Trey Parker was the only enjoyable thing in this film.

Jesus. Did these clowns learn nothing from Batman v. Superman or Spider-Man 3? They're cramming too many character into one movie. Not a good support for your hypothetical tentpole series, Sony.
I'm not surprised. Amazing Spiderman 2 also had way too much shit crammed into it. Looks like Sony learned nothing from their past mistakes.

Pirates wins due to being just mediocre. The other two are really fucking terrible but I'd give the edge to Transformers just because of Anthony Hopkins and his robo butler.

I'm from Compton California, so team North America.

I'm really excited for this. The book was pretty meh but the premise is perfect for a film.

This strikes me as one of those movies that's gonna get released in cinemas and be online in HD less than a week after. One of those kinda cheap films.
Yeah this looks like something that was meant to go straight to video but for some reason got a theatrical release.

God this looks terrible. Can't see this doing more than 35m.

My favorite film of all time. I never saw it in theaters but I had the vhs and I used to watch it constantly.

I think the vfx look acceptable. They'll be fine as long as they focus on the destruction and don't have to much talking.
-
This looks awsome. I'm glad they delivered on the destruction porn.

San Andreas was better in terms of D-Porn than the actual Emmerich movie released last year which just seemed to forget why the audience shows up for an Emmerich movie.
Yeah Resurgence was fucking terrible. It had less destruction porn than the original despite having a bigger budget.

San Andreas was terrific, on the D-Porn scale i'd give it a 8,5.
I really enjoyed San Adreas. I hope this is as good as that.

I'm in as long as they deliver on the cgi destruction porn.

This will end up grossing less than the first film despite inflation and a larger budget. That must be really disappointing for Paramount since they were hoping this would kickstart a cinematic universe.
-
I really hope this overperforms since I loved the first two films.
