Since the person who said Eternals was a mess, has now said this is also going to be a mess, what RT score will it get?
I think due to sheer disappointment after all the hype it will be low 50s and worse fan reaction then TLJ
Any other guesses?

Seriously wonder if the "Spider-Man: Far From Home" PR barrage this coming week was planned on purpose as a counterpoint as Feige knew this might get "mixed" reviews. Never underestimate the Feige-factor! 🤣
is it 2019?

But the thing is, a lot of the early reviews are from the "geek" movie reviewers, who are basically trained to give good reviews in exchange for access.
This is giving me snobby
Also no its about 70% official publication and 30% "geek" reviews who have a hive mind and have to give good reviews always.

The same one where a "B+" Cinemascore is considered a failure. That's Hollywood, baby...
In most Grad Schools, getting a "B" in classes is also more like getting a "C."
We don't know the CinemaScore yet

One word: Expectations. You expect the Kid in class who eats glue to get a F. But a honor roll kid? Same idea.
What planet is getting between 60-70 % an F

The way some of these reviews are completely contradicting the next one the comes in is amazing.
Some saying its boring, others saying its the most interesting Marvel movie yet. Some saying it generic, others saying its a new side to Marvel etc
Have they all seen different movies or is it really the divisive and Mixed??, How will RT get a consensus to write out?

I’ll be utterly shocked if it ends up rotten, but let’s wait before making any assumptions.
Its starting rotten....

Its not a spoiler for the actual movie. It ruins a post credit scene surprise. To me and most likely to the writer there is a difference. Still was a bit of an ass move to ruin the surprise.

In person promotional appearances scrapped due to Rona at the premiere
So the rest of the in person stuff is cancelled from now until Nov 5th? Even though they tested negative? All 16 days worth? That doesn't scream confidence from Disney in putting people in crowded places, which is where they want theater audiences to go?
Between this, the rising cases everywhere, possible new variants and the release schedule changes, I still dont see NWH coming in December, this might be the last big movie in theaters for 2021. But then again Spider-Man is not Disney's problem.

Wtf are you talking about?
This movie will have a big second weekend drop. The people who want to see it have seen it, the reaction has been good but it isn't enough to draw more people to go see it.
The rest of Disney's slate for the year will go hybrid release, bar maybe West Side Story

Why dont more people follow @BORReport on twitter?
They get the numbers first and do good break downs etc. ERC has seemed to turn up the shock jock personality up to 11 over the pandemic
-
Who is actually behind that ERC account? That seem to be losing their grip as the weeks have gone on.
They need to log off or someone needs to tell them to log off for a bit

OMG. There's no saving from meltdowns ehh? Fine its 22.5, with a small very small chance at 23. Happy?
Now don't @ me when it end up doing 22.8 or 22.4. You did it yourself.
It is very likely FRI is inflated due to IDA pushing some business off THU to FRI, so think it of as if 22.5M off a 20M FRI.
So it will be around 21 then? 😉

Sorry but it is a very meh Saturday with a chance it might even be lower then that number too
